Thread: Mandolorian Armor

is the madno armor separate then the Bh armor do you turn the BH armor into the mado armor? LOL been playing for a year and have never once gotten involved with the DWB, but am hoping to here real soon.
BH armor is coverted into Mando armor at the DWB...you must have the right ingredients as well as a Master DE and a Master AS to make a full set...plus there is a time limit once in the DWB to make it to the crafting stations and if you fail, you all get booted...
Personally I always thought the devs should have made Mando armor also an ultra rare drop via a static mission (no camping)...I'd make all armor pieces, except the helmet, drop at the same rate as exceptional weapons...I'd make the helmet (obviously the most recognizable piece) drop even more rare then that...
The background story of the Mando's is that they were a race of Commando like Soldiers who were eventually wiped out...but it's possible that their armor could still exist somewhere besides what Jango and Boba (as well as the other suit worn by the person pretending to be Boba in the comics) wore...I believe Boba once said that there were no more suits out there, but he could have been lying or Jango might not have told him where the Armor stash was...My guess is that there are tons more suits out there and Boba would know about it, but keep it secret so that he could replace armor pieces when needed...What if someone stumbled upon Boba's secret Mando armor stash?

meh I can't even find BH armor, need to kill more peeps...
Ditto.
I've killed 2 or 3 dozen of the Black Sun idiots, most soon after they introduced BH armor, and I haven't looted a single piece.
I just think I have bad luck with looting for the most part. ![]()

I can tell you want how I think the Devs would respond (based off of their past responses to this):
1) We want to keep it very rare and a real "prize"... Agree there needs to be content like this in the game.
2) There are future plans for the Jedi population that will "encourage" them not to be so "public".
One of the problemsI have with the game now is that a large part of the population is not public. Between Jedi Grinding in remote locations and
JTL's in space, You rarely see large groups of people in any particular place. If there plan is to make the Jedi go hide some where that would be bad for the game.

Also, weren't SBD's easier to Kill than Droid Dekas in the movies - think SWG has that reversed lmao

Jodo Kast was the other hunter who wore the armor. Im not sure about the comics as I haven't read them yet, but according to "Tales of the Bounty Hunters" Fett discovered that Kast had a set and that Fett himself was being credited (or blamed) for events that Kast had caused. Once Fett discoved this, he murdered Kast and took his suit from him.
From what I have read, it appears Fett had two sets of the armor and perhaps some extra pieces. The rest was likely to be scattered across the galaxy in the hands of private collecters.
The answer for the armor in SWG (in my mind anyway) is to get rid of the rainbow colors(allowing for crafter to make a matching suit), apply inherent bonuses (similar to adding CA's in regular armor) for wearing the armor to those certified to wear it, and increasing its maximumcondition (instead of 40-50k, make it 80-100k).
Resistances and effectivness would not matter if it was done this way. BH, Commandos, and rangers would be encoured to wear it as it would:
1.provide desirable bonuses to certed wearers
2. be twice as tough as regular armors (80-100k), making it more useable without having replace pieces every other day
3. we would be capable of matching suits so we dont look like circus clowns when wearing it
It would remian rare, but much easier to build a suit and players would WANT to wear it, as opposed to being afraid to take it out.

In the comic "Twin Engines of Destruction," it was actually a case that Kast was masquerading as Fett in order to get more money (because people are willing to pay obscene prices to hire Fett). Fett didn't like someone pretending to be him, nor did he like being blamed for Kast's way of handling things. Fett disguised himself, and hired Kast for a bounty.
The target was a trap.
He blew Kast up, armor and all.
I'd like a full suit of BH armor and Mandalorian armor not to wear, but to put on display in either my house or my"office." I'd only actually wear either suit at a RP event or something.
