Ah, that would explain it. I tried draining a master defender in a duel and was confused as to why my force bar was going down instead of up.


It did end up hurting him more than it hurt me, but drain was definately working for a net loss.

Not sure this analysis is correct.


My rebuttal: Armor Break, and the Saber version, does absolutely zero damage. In fact, if you hit something with Armor Break, and then someone else kills it...you will NEVER get any XP for the kill because the game does not consider you as having hit the target because you caused no direct damage. However, defenses are still taken into account...I can say this because Armor Break, and the Saber version of it, have been known to miss not infrequently dispite high accuracy mods - it must be the target's defenses. Thus, zero damage does not equal zero defense.
