True. As long as they can perservere they can set their own prices.
However I DO feel sorry for those who see Armorsmithing as one of the more 'art' based professions on the server and provide great customer service as well as good quality armor they've been collecting/buying resources for over the entire game life, oh hang on most of us have left already...
I can make some great colour combination on my padded armor. it has become a very quick seller for me.
It's to the point where I can see my work on the backs of other people running around all over the place.
It would be great to have that kind of colour customization on all suits.

if think there is absolutely no discussion about the factthat the relative value to be invested into armor is higher post CURB than it was pre CURB. Therefore the pricing of armors post CURB will be relativly higher than it was before. The margin will be probably lower and so will be movitation to play an armor smith. There are two additional facts that will lead to frustration of pre CURB armor smiths who provided professional services for all of us.
I'm not sure about %margin vs the old days, but I can comment on two significat facts:
1) I can't keep enough armor in stock it sells so fast at prices > $650k / suit faction armor 1.5Mil per suit
2) The margin may be lower (or not) but my bank account has grown faster than ever before, and i feel like I am doing less work for it (obviously dealing with less suits). One can easily make $10million in a couple days.
So from my Armorsmith perspective, its way easier to make money, which takes the stress out of it and makes it more fun than before.
Just my $0.02.
