For the loot items you will need 9 of each item, plus a couple for the inevitable fails. For the total count of rare resources? Just pay the armorsmith, otherwise you'll be harvesting for a couple months (resources listed in original post).

I could not find the way to lood closed chests as was mentioned. It even does not allow me to slice it.

I would appreciate any comments how it could be done.

I think I have a screen shot of a full set of RIS armor, but I'm not sure. Becuase for some odd reason Imagedump.com won't load on my PC, I can't check that, but here's my screenshot.

Which of the resources for the RIS have been the most difficult to get a hold of, in your opinions? Up on Yavin the last couple times I've been there, ppl have been actually camping the Woolymander temple, and the same holds true for the gurk king static spawns on Lok.

When I finally offed a woolymander harrower or 2 in the temple, I got that "You have no permission to access this corpse" message. Hmph. Not much success looting the king's either, but I think that may be because there were no ferals with them (unless someone has found otherwise).

Happened upon a vendor that had the armor on display in their house on Naboo. They weren't selling the armor at the time, but had the hide and bone fragments for sale on one of their vendors. Cost: 700k for a gurk king hide, and 800k for the woolymander fragment. Almost dropped the creds for one, although I'm able to afford them both. I shudder to think what the cost for this stuff might be :-P

So how's everyone's searches been going?

On sunrunner, the toughest thing to get right now is the GDK scale. There seems to be a small but steady flow of the other components.

The initial post to this thread provided screenshots of the schematics under Examine, but I honestly haven't seen many people wearing it or having it on display.

I DID see for a day (not too long ago, maybe a week), someone on Naboo outside Temenos Island (Kettemoor server) with it on display at the top of their stairs. However, when guildmembers went to see it, and I went back to purchase components, it was no longer there.

I did splurge 800k to buy the woolymander frag, and the reclusive gurk king I snipered yesterday had no loot on him. He spawned alone, so that may be why. Time to do some more missions and get more creds...

I finally started down the path to becoming novice armorsmith yesterday (this armor being the reason I wanted to try it), and need a few "k" more to get Novice. Grinded Armor Upgrade Kits, Droid Batteries, and some Melee Kits to do so. Just need Chanlon Intrusive, Platinite Copper, and a few more rare items (that I'd rather find than pay for :-P), and I'll at least have the mats to make the schematics. I'll worry about the rest later.

do you think its a bug when that bothan keeps what you make, because it seems a little wierd that they make you make a whole other seg for the boots.

Loot even the locked ones.......how can u loot from the locked containers? I've tried but it doesnt alllow me access.

I think he keeps it because he's either too embarrased or still hasnt worked out why only 3 races in the Galaxy can wear it. I still cannot believe they implemented RISknowingthis wasthe case!

As a result an AS cant even make a piece and sell it to get his money back on the components because it doesnt work and he can only sell to a small percantage of the population.

This is not an AS epic - its for the Master Combat Professionalwho happens to beone of three races andhas the time to camp for weeks on end or millions of credits to buy the loot then take it to an AS of his choosingto have it made.

I think for all the trouble involvedthe SWG Art Dept should put more effort into fixing the graphics for RIS so at least when the second layer becomes active everyone will be able to equip it.

Im a trando and i have the loot to make 2 pieces but it looks like it will rot in the bank for some time yet becuase i cant equip it =(
