Yeah, my wife had this happen to her. She logged on and her mabari chest plates were all gone, including the one she was wearing! Pants, helmets, boots are all still there. Only the chest plates are gone.
Also, ditto on the quality meter bar not showing up. This happens with every tool -- only shows quality bar after you load the item.
Update on this...
She bought another mabari chest plate from a vendor last night, after her previous ones disappeared.
She logged on today, and now her new mabari chestplate has disappeared.
So far, that's 3 mabari chestplates that have vanished.
When she logs out for the night, have her logout with nothing worn on her torso.The server may think she has something else equipped up there and is getting confused. Still investigating on our end to see if something else is going on as well.
They have confused servers? I know there's a comical comment to put in here right now, but i just can't think of it.

I think the server may "think" she is still wearing a bicep or the other chest still, which is why it is kicking the other one off when she logs in. Again hopefully unloading from the server with nothing on her torso may make whatever the server thinks is hiding there pop into view. This would be really good to do before a server reset.
Another thing I've noticed in regards to this:
Equipping mabari gloves, with a mabari chestplate on = unequips the chestplate.
Equipping a mabari chestplate, with mabari gloves on = unequips the gloves.
Submitted a fix for this.

Blix there is also a bug I've reported several times in game and out where Ace Helms (Pilot rewards and the Black Sun) and NS Biceps have been logged into on several people with 0/100 condition. Even if they were ADK'd. It seems this only happened to people whom were wearing said item when they logged in last Thursday-ish.

I am not bothering with any armour until I can make enhanced because that is really all I want to make. For those of us in the non-mass production market, this is pretty much a profession breaking bug.
However, most of my armoursmith resources work well for shipwright.

try a full scan from the launch pad, anytime my game gets confused with items this usualy fixes it

i want to make it all or nothing at all, now i can make faction, whoohoo... when i can make factory runs and enhanced armor ill be back in buisness, untill then... /rips plastic foil of BattleField 2.

All our NON-Bio pets now have a difficulty of 1(0) add damage of 5-10. THEY HAVE BEEN MADE WORTHLESS!!!!!!!!!!!
Bad enough they nerfed our Bio pets with the CU now they nerfed our non-bio pets.
And they STILL havn't fixed the making of Bio clothing that they nerfed on the #18 upgrade!
A message to the SWG Devs....
STOP adding features to the game and PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEEEAAAAAAAASEEEE FIX THE DANG BUGS or this game will be so darn nerfed that people won't or can't play it anymore! Once they are fixed then you will have a stronger base of the program to work from for the next upgrade.

Did you actually finish the quest?
Or did you just pay the 50K and expect to get the schematic?
