What is Janta Hide used for, i looted 2 the same serial and base 3% what is it used for and will it help me or is it worth selling and if so how much on chimera will i get?

They are segment enhancers, they go in the one-per-segment enhancement slot. They increase the base by their stat. 2 won't be worth much, as all you will be able to make with them is 2 pair of gloves. larger groups can get more, but it depends entirely on server economy.

Janta Hide is used as a Segment enhancment that rases the base effectiveness anywhere from 3% to 7% it is crafted into the armor segment along with any layers you wish to include.

Hiya all!
I just looted 7 segments of janta hide last night with a base effectiveness of 3%. So I basically come to you to ask what armor can they go into and if they're actually any good. Thanks for all the help.

The only other segment enhancers out there are NS Shards and Krayt Hide. The shards lower encumbrance and the krayt raises multiple stats and puts them into special protection.
The janta hide just raises the base and does not move anything to special protection, which means you can still get an eff slice on the armor and it does something.
Personally, I like janta hides for making stun armor. Allows me that extra protection.

I was doing janta missions the other day and I looted 5 things of janta hide from one of the janta. Do any of you know how much its worth and if so please tell me. If intrested in buying it I play on wounderhome and my char name is Ibo.

As a suggestion though: put them on bazaar with all the other janta hides.

when making armour with janta hide obviously i have to make in a factory for the chestplates etc,,,but because its only 1 hide per adv comp segment do the serials count,if they do how do i make the comp segs in high quantity
