i have been waiting for a week to get my armor ab sliced, no one seems to be able to do it, and the ones that can want to charge 6 mil for a 2 mil worth armor. doesnt this make you guys feel you wanna chew your own head?

you guys are getting me wrong. i'm not saying why people are charging so much, and i am aware of how rare the loot is. i am complaining the shock absorbent pads are too hard too loot. my anger is towards SWG

I always looked at it as a rather large benefit, and thus a "rare" slice, kept that way using an excessivly low drop... unfortunately, I agree, the drop is in fact lower than it need be for this slice's benefit.
Frankly, I'd almost prefer the benefit be increased, rather than the drop rate. But thats just me.

That would DEFINITELY be better. I'd like to see the top end slices increased all around, but make the parts super duper rare. Make it worth a damn. and drop the slicing caps. That's retarded.

To be honest, the quickest fix would be to move the SAP to the last item needed, not where it is currently. I might be able to live with the rarity of a top-tier slice, rather than the way it stands now. I'm not saying this alone would bring the current rate into balance with the benefit, but it would be a rather big step forward towards that end.
Regardless, AB is definately the top slice for PvPers and the rich, and is most useful on ADK'd pieces IMO. And regardless of if they increase it's top-end benefit, I certianly understand its need to be a "controlled" slice.
