Boy I have never seen so much mis information in a post before!
There is a sticky up top, the complete guide to armor and armor crafting, that explains how to get Mandalore Armor.
Asudek a few posts above this is the correct post.
There is no such thing as 'sith armor'. You may be confused by either the BH armor or the helm droped in space by Black Sun ships sometimes, which is a pilot helm, not armor.
You can get the ingedients from random drops outside the DWB, and on other planets, but Ive only heard of them dropping from Black Sun NPC's on Yavin and Endor. The geo cave one is news to me.
Its very hard to get, but it can be done, I know because Ive done the armorsmith pieces on my server

wow. disregard every post in this thread besides the ones that called bullsh!t on the others...
this is the best guide available imho.
i will end the geo cave mystery right now -
binary liquid and protective liquid coating DOES NOT drop anywhere near the geo caves.
im not the end-all on this subject, but im damn well close to it (check sig).

Well you first have to have a piece of bh armor to make into mando. Lets say you have a bh helm, what you do is go to endor and loot the dw wraiths. You have to loot 2 different recources and I cant think right now what they are called. Then you have to trek the entire dwb with a droid engineer to the mando crafting station. You can only craft one piece of bh armor into mando per trip. So you craft you bh helm into a red mando helm. Now you have a bh chestplate and you complete this process all over again. The only problem is that your chestplate will come out as a different color because the mando forge crafts the mando armor in a random color. So pretty much all this time and effort will get you a complete set of rainbow mando armor that doesnt compare to the comp armor that you wear right now as it has weaker stats and has no resists to acid, stun, lightsaber and a few others that I can not remember at this time but it looks cool. Have fun!!

If my memory doesn't fail me its Master BHs, Commandos, and SLs. I -think- Master Rangers as well...but Im not 100% confident with that one...

Okay Mandalorain armor is suppose to be the only armor in the galaxy that is resistant to lightsaber damge.
No its not. If it is, show me a link to an official SW site where this is said, or a quote from a published SW book, or even provide the name of a published SW book in which such a quote can be found. Please, no quotes from fan sites written by over-zealous fans either.

Only armor in the starwars galaxy i have heard of that has lightsaber resist to some degree is the armor of the Yuuzhan Vong, vonduun crab armor.
*Taken from www.starwars.com*
Among the devices used by the Yuuzhan Vong are amphistaffs, serpentine whips which can harden into rock-hard staves, or flatten to razor-sharp edges. Also used in combat are thudbugs, small thrown insects that detonate on impact. The Yuuzhan Vong wear vonduun crab armor, a living carapace that protects a warrior in combat that can even temporarily withstand blaster strikes and lightsaber blows.
