I'd say it cost way more to make than I could ever sell it for.Let's see...

Set of 8 12% layers - 16 mil at auction, though this price was artificially inflated by one rather vindictive little worm of a bidder, probably around the 5-6 mil mark at true value

Set of 7 7% layers - free, though they would normally retail for around the 750k-1 mil mark on our server

7 Peko feathers - also free (I happen to live next to one of their favourite spawning grounds, and so get about 5-6 a week just killing them as I run my factories), but someone buys them for around 250k per on our server, so let's call it that

Set of 7 -20 shards - free because I stole it from Arox's loot , but again, probably around the 750k mark

Total value - priceless, but only to me.

So out of that 18-19 mil or so, I have 6 segments that can make stuff like this. In truth, it wouldn't go for more than 250k or so at auction, I imagine, because you know what customers are like. They'd look at this and go 'thats crap it has no stun, my rifleman would so kill u dead' or 'ha u noob i have 90% base armour and nobody cares about ham anyway coz i buff even if i just have to walk down the hall to take a dump'. So it really has no value apart from me being able to look at it and say, yes, I beat the system - I hit the resist cap and the HAM cap in a single piece.

However, I'm very happy to hear all the glowing praise in this thread, so thank you all - you restore my faith in the armoursmithing profession as a whole.

I really think you sell yourself short on how much it would go for... but no way it could come close to covering the costs

I am one of the few that do care about HAM costs

I have a great respect for this profession and those who do it well

wow, i once saw someone make gloves with kryat segments at 80% with 0 action, and a few points of mind/health. Thanks for raising the bar

helluva job man. im in awe. i've hit 80% base but never had less than 11/13/11 encumberance on the boots/biceps/bracers.
