i dropped as my self, Just didnt look like id be able to enjoy it after CU.

There are a few too many unresolved issues to say exactly what would happen but here's my guess. If CU went live today, with no *rational* hope of fixing AS anytime soon, I'd drop AS like a rock. I'd give Embo a go as a combat profession, and see what happened. I've certainly got good access to refitable armor. Maybe I'd just keep a stock of that handy to support the new combat class.
The new system is dead weight. It has too may absurdities. Maybe if I was a noob, the charm of making armor would be enough for me to give it a shot, but with the complete indifference that the Devs seem to be making with respect to established AS's, I'd just can the whole gig. Maybe someone would want to buy my old AS junk, maybe I'd just will it to a guildie. I dunno.
As it stands now, though, there are a few things that will doubtless change in the next couple of weeks that warrant - giving it a shot. So, that's what I'll most likely do - I'll see what the Live release plays like and re-consider there after.

Just like one of the other posters, my merchant/As is done. Staying around long enough to transfer credits and sell resources.
After that... Poof.

I'm on the verge of quiting. If it wouldnt leave my guild, my city, and my friends out in the cold then i would have quit 3 weeks ago.
I have 2 weeks left, after the cu hits live I will stay 1 week. If it still is as god aweful as it is now. Then SOE can bite my hairy @$2.
I have no faith left, SOE has to be the most incompetent company. If thier parent company didnt make such good products I would say i would never buy another sony item again, but as it stands SOE will never get another penny from me.

Only problem: Who will buy the resources at this point.
I'm gonna be gone. If current composite converts over well enough, I'll sell that and maybe mess around with some rebel armor. But that's only until my current game card runs out.
