How the hell do you select the right Schematic number?

Well Schematic numbers differ sometimes depending on what level of Armorsmith you are at. Basically this is how I do it, and it works ok for me.

I go to my private crafting station, and I usually just pick the number 10 to start with, and see what that makes. Then I open up my datapad, change the view to list and check out all my draft schematics.

I find the one I made (#10) and start counting downwards including all those schemtics that you can make with your clothing and armor tool. 11 - 12 - 13 - 14.....

Finally you will get to the schematic that you want to make. You might be up to 23 or something or even 40. Put that number into your macro and see what it makes. If you did it correctly you should be good to go. If you accidently counted incorrectly you may need to count back or forward 1 or 2.

I cannot find "double-click" as an option to map mouse2 (right-click) to in the keymap...any suggestions as to what the correct term in keymap is for "double-click"?

just another small tip, because i did the this today and it confused the hell out of me(probably sleep deprivation).....remember if your stood near a crafting station you might be able to produce more items so the schematic number might change, so don't be a fool like i was and think your macro suddenly decided to stop crafting the right item!

Last time I used a crafting macro it did, although I just use /nextc;

which shouldn't make a difference.

I had this same (basicially) macro. My macro would run, I would select all the resources. It would cycle to the next crafting kit. The kit I just finished with would have the numbers buy it, (like it was creating the item).

No experience!

I had my skill window open, I changed timers to give myself enough/more time. I wasn't near a crafting station. No clue what happened I tried several things. The only thing that worked was manually pressing enter and not using the macro. I finally when to manual because I didn't want to keep wasteing resources.

Anyone else have this problem?

I have pretty much the same macro as everyone else here, just that I have it divided into two macroes, so that the last part of the macro never dissapears if you log or anything funny like that. You only need like 9 kits to grind Ubese Shirts, so the extra macro on the toolbar won't stop you from making progress.

You can even call the macro in the macro itself, without pressing any buttons, just use "/macro macroname;". So space shouldn't be a problem.

Usually I don't grind, but I have to admit that a macro is nice when you need that extra skillbox for master. Which I did last night!

A really useful variation for me on this was to set up an alias for /selectDraftSchematic XX

This means that you can quickly and easily change the schematic you want to produce.

e.g. /alias SelSchem /selectDraftSchematic 63

then replace the /selectDraftSchematic XX with /SelSchem in your macros. I havent tried this, since I have needed it yet but you could probably have an alias along the lines of /alias SetSelSchem /alias /selectDraftSchematic then when you type /SetSelSchem XX it will set the alias for you.

Then in a further twist, you might be able to do /alias SetChestPlate /SetSelSchem 63 and /alias SetSegment /SetSelSchem 56

Then when you want to make Segments you type /SetSegment before kicking off the macro, then when done making the segments call /SetChestPlate to make those.

Anyhow, if you have two toolbar panes setup the final macro on each pane could call one of the above before switching panes and starting the whole process again in a big loop.

Ok Im getting carried away with something I haven't yet tested... The only real problem that I can see is that aliasing pauses doesnt work, so it is hard to vary that and segments dont take as long as chest pieces, two ways might be to have several panes setup with Slow Medium and Fast macros.

The Commands are case sensitive in some instances. Try typing /nextC with the C on caps that should work
