OK, I know the Black Sun assassins drop it most often, but do Thugs or Henchmen drop it at all?

From what Ive heard all Black Suns drop it, but the assasins drop with the highest regularity.

Ive found over 20 spawns and have put together 2 sets, the assassins havnt seemed to drop any more than the other 2, but I havnt killed any after the last patch so some of the drops might be diff.

They all drop armor/jetpack parts at about the same, crappy rate =)

BH armor does still drop right? i have this weird thing whenever i fight a black sun.
right when he has like 1k hame left he just dissappears. sent a ticket, they told me he was running away and i was lagging. someone else told me bh armor doesnt drop now anyways.

Summary:
1) It does drop (from Yavin IV Black Suns)
2) It's now a very rare drop
3) Black Suns are 5x harder to kill now they do specials again
4) Just buy the armour, it's easier and quicker

It is still easier to get the money through missions in the time it would have taken you to get one drop. People have been reporting over 200 kills for 1 piece. The time it takes to find and kill 200 x however many pieces for a set is a looooooong time - that's assuming you get all the pieces with no duplicates.

I looted a Bounty Hunter Bicep awhile back, and its max condition is around 142k, with 131k remaining. This struck me a rather high. So my is, does BH armor typically have this high of condition?

Depends really, sometimes you can get as low as 9k condition and even up to 150k condition. It's pretty random, you can get 90% base and kinetic resists if you're extremely lucky and some skill mods such as Def. Vs. Stun + 21 for example, I've even heard a rumour that some pieces have lightsaber resists, but I highly doubt it.

Thanks for the info. The base resists are nothing stellar on my piece. 25%.
