your best bet would be to obtain a bio'd non ch-class pet. they can make 'em pretty tough nowadays.
you could also get a kahmurra. modest ham(2k+) and pretty good tanking skills.

You want a high kinetic resist pet with as low a CL as you can get. The higher the pet is the less experience you get. Kill a level 10 mob with a level 15 pet you get 1 point. Kill, or help kill, a high level Mob with a good CL10 pet you get alot more xp. If you have a bio engineer that you know, you can tame his cast offs that he would normally just destroy. You get 100 points per command.

sorry to be posting this in here but i need some help on joining the test center... they dont allow us to post topics in the testing forum... I have been trying to join for quite some time and everytime i go to join i get a message in the test center launchpad right after it is updating saying my files are corrupt or so on... it tells me to reinstall which i have done countless times... it has not worked for 5 months... i can join any server and play perfectly fine but not on the test center... if anyone could give me some information on how to fix this problem it would be nice... the CSR in the general chat room told me to contact swg via email and i need to get on tonight... i probly wouldnt get a response that fast so im asking anyone in here who might have any information for help...

And if that fails, you probably need to do a complete reformat of your hard drive...

I am currently trying to get to Novice Smugg and was wandering if you needed Unarmed 4 to get to Novice smugg. And if you do any ideas on where to grind Unarmed 4.

Yup you need unarmed 4 and pistols 4.
To grind get some speed sliced VB,you wil told that you are not certified to use them but ignore that message, get a buff drink brandy get a mind buff etc and just kill

You youngin's an' yer fancynew-fangled buffs, and sweeps, and bikes, and uber composite armor. Back in my day, we had to walk across the entire planet to level, in the snow, uphill, both ways.

I ground UA 1-3 just killing newbie creatures and static spawns right outside of Cnet...
Then I headed to Dath and just ran Giant Baz missions (in a solo group if I could find one, but without grouping if there wasn't a group)...
Of course, I had a set of 80% Kinetic Comp and a full set of buffs. Took a couple of buff sessions, but it wasn't too bad...
