To cut and paste you need to go to the 'options' panel and then select the 'keyboard' tab (or whatever it is like). Select 'keymap' and then select the 'All' tab. Scroll down until you see 'chat copy' and 'chat paste' (it's called something like that, can't remember offhand). Bind those two commands to a keystroke. I use ctrl-c and ctrl-p, since that's what windows uses generally and I don't have to think about it then.

im having no luck getting the macro to work, it was working for about an hour. but now no matter what i try changing in the schematic number it always opens up to the mabari armorweave pants.

i have tried deleting the macro remaking it changing the schematic numbers and nothing changes always opens to the pants.

heres my current macro

/ui action toolbarSlot00; /selectDraftSchematic 21; /pause 20; /nextC; /nextC; /nextC; /createPrototype practice no item; /createPrototype practice no item; /pause 5; /ui action toolbarSlot01; /selectDraftSchematic 21; /pause 20; /nextC; /nextC; /nextC; /createPrototype practice no item; /createPrototype practice no item; /pause 5; /ui action toolbarSlot02; /selectDraftSchematic 21; /pause 20; /nextC; /nextC; /nextC; /createPrototype practice no item; /createPrototype practice no item; /pause 5;

am i just bugged or am i missing something. i tried doing this both in front of a crafting station and away from the station no difference.

Help please if you can.

I was Wondering the macro works fine and i thanks u for that info, but is there anyway to select the ore while in the crafting thing. say u only have to use steel to make something, when it pauses to let u select the things u want to make the item with, is there a /select or something that makes it auto select the ore?

I'm having a problem with my crafting tho--I'm using Generic Tools to finish up Engineering 4 (just getting started), and I'm using 5 kits. I'm using the above-posted macro, with a shorter pause inbetween, and of course different schematic #'s. When the timer in, lets say, Tool #1 reaches 0, and I'm midway through selecting the resources of Tool #4, it auto-closes Tool #4, the resources that I had inserted are gone, and I get no experience. So basically whenever one of the Tools gets finished crafting the practice item, it will close whatever craft window is open, and takes up whatever resources are in use without any xp given.

This may just be with Generic Kits, since I grinded my way through CM and Doctor with Food & Chem kits with no problems.

Apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but I think the maths is slightly flawed.

According to the guide if you went the AUK/Ubese shirt route you would have to make 1,450 AUKs and 4,941 Ubese shirts.

The XP gained from an AUK in practice mode is 63 (I presume its the same in non-practice).

Therefore to get Personal Armor 1 you would need to craft 445 AUKs (28000 xp / 63 = 444.44)
To get Personal Armor 2 you would need to craft 623 AUKs (39200 xp / 63 = 622.22)
To get Personal Armor 3, the point at which you would switch over to Ubese shirts, you would need to craft 800 AUKs exactly (50400 xp / 63 = 800)

Making a grand total of 1,868 AUKs - using 37360 Metal, 18680 Chemical. Obviously these resources don't take into account critical failures.

According to SWGCraft.com, Ubese shirts give 126 xp in practice mode.

Therefore, assuming you started making Ubese shirts as soon as you got Personal Armor 3. You would have 599,200 XP left to get (61600 x 4 (top tier) = 246400, 50400 x 3 = 151200, 39200 x 3 = 117600, 28000 x 3 = 84000).

By my calculations you would need to make 4,756 Ubese Armor shirts (599,200 / 126 = 4755.55)
...using 142,680 Steel, 95,120 Iron, 47,560 Fiberplast). Again, this doesn't take into account critical failures.

Any thoughts?

Crafting is fun... looking for resources, experimenting, selling your wares outside of coronet starport.

Camping is fun... chatting with your battle partners about how close that Gnort came to landing a hit on you, how you set that krayt dragon on fire, or going fishing when you camp near a river.

Grinding crafting is not fun, it's just a heck of a lot of skill-less clicking. You finger may ache (warning: do not click til your finger aches)

Grinding camping at least you can step away from your computer for a few minutes and still make progress, and it doesn't involve clicking the same 4 resources thousands of times.

They both stink

Great thread. I must say I do not have a Holocron yet, stating I need to do this. However, once I do open my FS slot I wanted to take my main character into a crafting profession. At this time I am seriously thinking of doing the Armorsmith even though it appears to be an unglorified position.

This also reminds me I need to go appologize to an armorsmith for my last tell.

Sounds like your math is better than mine I'll double check it later and fix it on the main post. Thanks for pointing this out.

Aye, i am having the same problem as you seem to be. I have changed my draft schematic number like 20 times, and no matter what number i put down, it always pops up with chit legs... I did do it with auks before this, and it worked fine, now since i changed the draft it just wont get off those **edit** legs....lol
