The stats are in the game guide, so it was planned at some point close to being made. Perhaps the idea was shot down by Lucas, or perhaps they simply decided to save it for later. After all..if they put in EVERYTHING star wars in the first publish..what they going to have left to put in game later? This isn't Final Fantasy, if you're in the game to 'beat it all' you're playing the wrong genre

No I don't have a freakin sig. Just make something up and pretend it's here man. woman. umm...Whatever.

we all know mandalorian armor is prenerf armor that boba fett hoarded before the armorsmith nerf removed the schematic. I mean, come on, medium armor??

I believe after the next crafter nerf, composite armor will be just as talked about and hoarded. And the next post will be

"A long time ago when the game first came out there was a rumor of one set of thecomposite armor being on each server. What ever happened with this? Was it just a rumor? Is it another item that got put on the back burner?"

I was a crafter before I opened my first holo. It showed me the light, and I let go of the crafting tool, never to touch it again...

This question gets asked at least a few times a week on the diffrent forums. There is armor in the game, but it is only on NPCs. It will probably never be for players. If we want to be close to the starwars story, then noone will have any. In the books there was another bounty hunter that had the armor. Boba Fett found out about him and hunted him down and killed him, just because he had it. So if you really want a set of mandalorian armor I suggest you play "Knights of the Old Republic"

His name was Jodo Kast, and boba didnt kill him simply because he "had it" but because Jodo was sometimes mistaken for Boba and even pretended to be Boba since he could get higher pay that way..

And it was THAT that pissed Boba off

When I started a thread similar to this some childish moderator quickly deleted it....most likely bacause I dared to complain about the devs many foolish implementations. Anyone else had to deal with this?

On March 22, 2004 one of the dev's posted that they will be adding wearable Mandalorian armor to the game. It will be a combination drop/schematic that will require a Master Armorsmith and will be in an abondoned mine guarded by mercenaries. No word if the mine will be instance or not, or when the date of implementation will be.

The read I got was that they've had the armor ready all along, but don't want it too abundant in the game, and they weren't sure if it should be a drop or craftable. I got the impression the RIS armor was a test-run for the Mandalorian suits. Any other word on it?

Technically it is in-game, but only as something NPC's can spawn with as they can spawn with anything. Supposedly it is being added in some sort of craftable form, but that may take a while.

There are 2 suits of mandaloiran armor on every server, and 1 suit of sith armor. The mandalorian armor comes with a cape, which looks sorta gay... but hey, it's a cape. The sith armor is all black I think... (never seen it, heard from someone else... couldn't find file for it either.) You get both from Uber-rare-onceinalifetime-godlike drops.

this armor will not be craftable, it is a type of armor used donkey years ago hence only a few suits left(in terms of SWG)....to be earned/found/looted

it will never be craftable nor should it be

just read other thread and learned that it will be craftable, this is the worst ever decision by the DEVS and doesnt even keep in touch with the star wars universe...... just wait till everY **edit** in ur galaxy is running round in it.

As i understand it from the current notes, it will be a craftable armor (makes sense, if it was a 'old left over' kinda loot, they would prob. all be worn out by now :-)

You need to take a Bio Engineer, Tailor and Armor smith into the caves to craft it on the spot..

What i was wondering was what resources those 3 (or specificly the AS) need to bring to the dungeon next to their trusty crafting tool..

And please, don't hijack this thread to complain about it being crafted or not (tbh you miss understood the thread you read, since it does need to be crafted on the spot, and it isnt just a new schematic any AS can craft up at any time, it will prob be more rare.. It's harder to keep 3 crafters alive while they try to build an armor piece, then it is to kill 10 npc's untill they drop a armor piece).
