Did anyone else just kinda look past where it said the layer can be used on any armor segment? Man, I wonder exactly what the layer will give. Sounds really awesome but I hope this armor LOOKS good. Would be sad to see a great armor come out looking like a crossbreed of Mabari and Padded.

This will benefit those in guilds or who have a large amount of friends but will only make the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Just like composite, eventually we'll see a day where nobody wants to buy anything but R.I.S (what the hell does that stand for anyway ?) armor.Those who benefit with gifts of krayts segments now, will also benefit with other completely rare and exotic resources. For guys like me who are approached and offered to buy 9 krayt segments for the low low price of 180k, Ill also be turning down the offer for woolymander bone fragments. By the way, not all armorsmiths are wimps, Im 3/4 of the way done with pistoleer and solo all the time on the hostile worlds. This is a big mistake and will hurt the little guy for sure. Granted Im not poor, (2.3 million) but Idont plan on making any. Mygame time is busy enough moving harvesters every 4 days now (thanks for cutting shifts in half, used to be 7 days) and looking for clues to opening FS. Im certainly NOT looking forward to every charac. out there telling me to ask "how much" and"why" when I say no.

100 armorsmiths having the schematics doesn't really mean 100 armorsmiths being able to churn out RIS All components (to my knowledge, at least most) are loot... and not exactly loot from easy level mobs. I don't really forsee anyone stocking RIS up on their vendor based on the availability (or lack thereof) of the loot components.

If you're still unwilling to post the location of the hermit to the general public, I would appreciate if you could respond to my private message on the boards with the location. I dont have a character on test center so I cant message you privately Upper right hand side of your screen should say "1 new message" right about now!

I would hope selfishness wouldnt prevail in keeping someone from sharing with the rest of us something we could all enjoy.

If you truly do know the location of this hermit and are doing the quests, good luck to you.

oh and i speculate as to whether he has actually found the npc because as far as i know these blocks of text can be extracted from the client files...

i have seen people extract the entire jedi skill tree and post it.

Hehe, I just spent all of last night running all over Dant. Wasn't fun, and no Hermit i'd LOVE to get a wp to his location

Actually they know everything that anybody non sony knows. This text was pushed client side along with the data for the components and armor(couldnt find the graphics though) last publish(not this one). I have been searching for it ever since I found the text(mainly trying to get the components, never found one peko peko albatross feather out of the 10 or so I killed).
