About how much faction does this cost a human? I'm thinking of just finding an imp colonel (since by the time I grind my way to colonel I'll have been able to get a full suit anyway) and paying the 45k per 500 fp
I want a set of ST armor for my apocalypse bunker, though technically I have the helmet from the theme park

A lot.
I'm not human, and the penalty fluctuates a lot it seems, but you're looking at at least 1000 for the small pieces and 2500 for the bigger pieces (like chest and helm). And there's a lot of pieces.
Basically, a full set selling for 1 million credits is a slight bargain.

Okay, so I was way off. Tells you the last time I went to a recruiter
Yeah, the chest/boots/pants I'll have to 'buy' @_@ see, if the armor was more effective and affordable, there would be a much more starwarsy feel. *stomps feet* and I wanna emulate Han, dammit.

Although the functionality is somewhat on the lame side at least ST armor looks cool. *gets a mental pic of marine armor*.....*pukes*
Kefka, you say you want to emulate Han but I notice you have the title of master snuggler in your sig. The mention of Han Solo and the term master snuggler are about as far apart as you can get I would think.....

Not as far apart as you think. Among other things, Han was a smuggler. What was the line Grido said to Han in the Cantina in Mos Eisley? Something about "smugglers who drop their loads at the first sign of trouble" (or something to that effect). Also the line Han said about the Millenium Falcon; "she may not look like much, but shes got it where it counts. I made a lot of special modifications myself", I take that to mean that he sliced his engine parts. Sounds like a Master Smuggler to me.

I created a char on Bloodfin only to serve as a Stormtrooper. Goal: To get a full suit of ST armor. I didnt focus on skills, just grind that FP everytime I logged in,heres the story:
Ever since I bought SWG my goal has been to get my hands on a full suit of ST armor. However, trandos have to high FP cost so I decided to create a new char only to work hard for the that cool armor. Started out in Mos Eisley as an marksman. Did the newb quest and bought a 1.5 speed/101 damage D18 pistol. Then I shuttled to Coronet and did some scavenger rats missions to get Pistols 2. Then it was off to MASC city (Simply because I had read about their unbelieveable Imperial Command Center) and started grinding FP.. I got some money, got some better clothes than the ugly Nov Marksman outfit.. 350 Imperial missions laterI had my full suit of ST armor. With Novice Pistoleer. Then I made a "scan" macro and made the streets unsafe for the Mos Eisley newbs, some really thought that I was a "real" Stormtrooper,it was quite funny. Its still in full condition

Maybe I think my charrie would look cute in stormy armor
Hehe... in our guild, we had a tiny petite zabrak who sometimes marched in ST armor with us. Now she made a very cute stormtrooper! Until she whacked you with her uber stun baton

Most of the armor isn't too bad looking. But the helmet is horrible. And I don't know who thought it was a good idea to give ST armor 10 pieces (including a belt) and to give marine armor no bracers or gloves but a backpack instead.
A backpack that can only be equipped while overt at that.
It was designed for Mon Cals. Seriously. The conehead helmet looks great on 'em. And they can't wear gloves or bracers.

Want to say it's about 11k fp for human master smuggler for the entire suit. Usually sell em fairly quickly at about 1.7mil for the whole suit. Kind of pricey for decoration, but I've seen crazier things
