I looted 4 peices and sold them all for 2 Million credits about 2 days after everything started dropping... I sold while the market was new and made a killing... Ask around, see if you can create some demand and sell to the highest bidder....

Good Luck.

I think that the full name is "Portion of Heavy Duty Leather".

Ok thanx Gyopithen i understand.

Cause i bought yesterday,

1: 9 identical Portion of Heavy Duty Leather

2: 5 identical Portion of Heavy Duty Leather

Then i thought hmm maybe this isn´t the stuff to make the Lightweight Military Pack and the Spec-Ops AgentPack. But now i am pretty calm with myself...

Now we gonna make some packs baby....

Btw anyone know what to charge for the 2 packs ??

Check your servers trade forum and see how much their going for.

The leathers usually go for about 100k a piece. So add that. Then add what you think is fair for the limited-use schematic. Then add in what you want.

The trick is to not let go of it unless you 100% satisfied with the price your getting. If you feel you can get better do not sell.

Also... Be sure to run these in a factory. Make a schematic then run the rest in factory. You'll have one less item but in return save 2 uses on the schematic.

Also... The Light-Weight Military Pack is more popular. The stats on the Spec's are pretty useless since they only benefit the least favorite professians.

Feel lucky! A friend on Gorath sold a set of 9 for 2 million credits.

Hehe…and I bought a set of 5 leathersfor 30Kcr (and a set of 4 CCTs for 20Kcr.) Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. (I've paid 120Kcr for a set of 6 leathersbefore, traded 3 Exquisite Dancer's Leotards for a set of 4 leathers—plus a leotard schem and a CCT—it really depends on who's got 'em and what I can wrangle.)

Bah! On Corbantis they're going easily for 200k a piece WAY beyond the means of a lot of tailors and I refuse on principle to pay such extortionate amounts, I have been lucky enough to loot several single pices but I fear that identical portions will be well beyond my reach for a while to come.

Hi there my fellow Tailors,

Question:

Heavy Duty Leather and portion of Heavy Duty Leather is that the same thing ??

The leathers go for alot but the end-product is hard as heck to sell off.

Once you counter in the price for leathers (100-200K) and then schematic which is limited use and a rarity -- Seeing how everyone is only given one and its a random give away... They are near impossible to sell for a decent price.

I have a WS toolkit which takes 2 leathers and gives +3 to WS experimentation but can't find any good offers. And the weird part is... SEA's with only +1 to experimenation go for well over a million cr.

/sigh

AS of now I am not doing these for customers who bring me their schematics and ingredients I'm only going to do them if the compnents are mine. These Items are WAY tohard to shift as people tend to laugh when you ask half a mil for a crafters apron but thats normally just what it costs me in ingredients. I wish people would stop inflating the price of the ingredients and then whining about the huge cost of the finished items...Just sell the components cheap then you'll see alot more of these items at reasonable priecs and we might just be ablt to make a bit of profit on them.

Not even going to START about crit failures with a customers stuff...You should NEVER crit fail these Items as the cost of a bug or lag or a crit failure is just HUGE!
