After killing several wild GDK's i got some kimogila scales, not the ones that are meant for bone armor just
/ normal kimogila scales
/ of a giant dune kimogila
/ that had no giant dune kimogila scales/
Go figure???!!!

I got my first scale on the fifth wild GDK I killed. Now up to 15 wild GDK's and one static spawn since then, and no additional scale. Grr...

I got mine recently on Lok, only killed 8 Kimos (All wild) for it.

I was just curious, I've heard rumors that these dont drop. From the influx of scales from what I can tell on kettemoor, that is false. However myself and a jedi friend recent killed 22 without so much as a segmen, anyone know anything?

They drop, it is just rare. I killed 250+ gdks (hunted them since RIS was on test center) with no drop, then hit the jackpot with a 9 scale loot one day. It was from the kimo in kimo town, so don't believe the BS that some people try to pedal saying that only random spawn GDKs drop.

I don't know of anyone that has looted any since the changes myself...they were incredibly hard to get before so you just gotta keep at it. This is the only part i need to make my own RIS armor so ill try to wack a few GDK's when i get home tonight.

oh no I know that kimo town does drop as I helped a friend get a GDK scale but that was several months ago...Not too long after I heard it was broken, but I dunno
