Note that web colors and what get rendered in game won't be the same. Who takes the screen shot is what that picture will be like for that person. It does help with monitors however, specially flat panels, that can display colors differently. I would say the complaints are rare, but they are there. I get the feeling there are far more silent complaints that people choose not to voice so not to offend the guy that just worked hard on that suit. Happens a lot more than most of use think, specially with color palettes that are very lacking at times. Everyone wants black RIS after all. If they could see the choices for themselves and try out all the different combos, then that is best. I have seen this on a web site for RIS and only RIS. Not the only armor type out there.

Becoming an armorsmith just isn't that hard, sorry.

Being a top notch armorsmith is much like being a top notch full templated jedi. It isn't something you can do a week after buying the game nor should it be. People that have played the game for a while and have gained enough credits can and do break into any of the crafting professions, be it weaponsmith, chef, BE, architect, ect.. They don't have 'custom colors' to help out the upstarts, yet upstarts succeed all the time. Your point just isn't valid, sorry. These kits are wanted by both customers and armorsmiths alike.
