Thread: Health Enhanced Armor Worked Examples for Smiths and Customers
Thanks WittyNewt. I've been trying to be a knowledgable armor customer and provide my very busy smith with what he needs to have a good chance at craftingmy firstperfect set of Wookiee recon for me.
Though I've read all the stickies several times, not being an AS, I still end up not sure what I need to gather.... AS may know this stuff inside out and tire of explaining it, but even well intentioned customers are trying to be knowledgable about weapons, armor, various droids, foods, med enhancers, macros, quests, piloting, ship components, loot sales, etc., not to mention their own combat professions.
The examples are great and helped me understand the process and how the enhancers work together and where I stand on my loot gathering journey. This should hopefully move me up a few spots on my busy armorsmith's list of preferred customers.
One thing I still haven't nailed down for enhanced recon armor. I understand where the NS Shards and Peko feathers come in.....but now I'm not sure about the acklay hides. Are they used in addition to the peko feathers in the final assembly? So if my shards and peko feathers are a few points shy of 50, I can throw a few acklay hides into the pack for the AS to bump it up to 50 for the piece?
That is correct. They work exactly the same as peko-peko feathers (they are called interwoven appearence enhancer, not ackley hide btw) and can be used WITH the feathers to increase the armor the few extra points.
