Thread: Ranting on their forums will do nothing go ABOVE them

and when lucasarts sees this prison riot of a forum, you expect them to do what, exactly.
I don't expect anyone to do anything until enough accounts cancel to get attention, but this feedback is wasted on the miserable misfits currently on the SOE SWG team, they feel they are beyond our influence, beyond reproach, and are clueless to real leadership, communication, planning, community relations, and project management.
What I do think is highly likely, is that someone will wake up when the numbers continue to drop of active accounts, and the questions are asked, and the decision to fire this SWG team is made.
Then, with a new team, they will have to reach out to the community and reconcile with it. That may include pitching New SWG into the trash, and keeping Classic SWG as part of that reconcilement, or it may be too long in place to completely undo, but with a new team and new credibility, they may solicit broad player support to work together in new ways, respectfully, communicating, and demonstrating strong leadership and communication.
With so many players on the brink now, its going to impact SOE SWG's ability to get support and buy-in on anything from the community, and because players are so disenfranchised with SOE and the trust is broken, it will lead to decay of the game, for example, peeps being overtly hostile and disruptive cause they don't care anymore if they're banned (happening today), peeps using exploits with no remorse (cause they don't care and don't care if they're banned anymore,) peeps not putting passion and enjoyment into the game impacting its overall success (already happening,) peeps not providing positive word of mouth to organically grow the game (instead word of mouth today is stay far away from the game.) It's a snowball effect of decay from a "NO CONFIDENCE" vote for the New SWG and the SOE SWG regime. They're done. Cancel, and by so doing, speed their firing and exit along.

Let the mismanagement take its natural course, deny SOE the ability to prolongue the game's death with the NEW SWG game launch, by cancelling your accounts, and having the balls to stick with it until these misfits are fired. That's the only way. These pathetic, inexperienced, and untrained leaders cannot make this game successful and they have to go. Reactivate accounts after they are fired. If the game doesn't make it, well it sure wouldn't have made it under their ongoing mismanagement.
Hate to say it, but its true. It takes a certain amount of failure to become the best. They are failing miserably - no doubt about it. Communication is at its worst. What they are doing to armorsmith is an absolute atrocity. Not that I trust George Lucas to take over, but at least HE made Star Wars, only HE can effectively destroy it.
