Dunno how you could make RIS without stun, but if you want it for display then I guess you did what you intended to do.

If you're going to layer your RIS for PvP, you'd be better off putting 3 Acid layers in it. You can always wear a PSG for stun protection, but a PSG won't protect you from acid.

Acid worries me much less than stun. All too often do people use a jawa and nothing else. DXR6B's are pretty much reserved for jedis. And yeah this is a nice suit, I just couldn't live without stun in my RIS

just a question... when crafting RIS.. if you experiment on the encumberence... does the kinetic resist go up too like composite armor?

I used to feel the same, but lately the Jawa Ion Rifle has been going out of favor rather rapidly. When used against someone with 40%+ Stun Comp and an effectiveness sliced Imp PSG, the AP1 Ion Rifle just doesn't do enough damage. I don't know about your server, but on Starsider, the DXR6b now appears to be the Rifleman's weapon of choice. Unless a rifleman has an uber Krayt Ion Rifle, he's most likely going to do more damage with his AP2 DXR6b, because he'll be able to bypass his opponents PSG. Not to mention that the DXR6b has great close range accuracy, which is where most PvP normally ends up.

The only other Stun weapons to worry about are the Stun Baton, Sonic Blaster, and the Tangle Pistol, and all of them are AP0. I guess the point I'm trying to make, is that if you stun layer your RIS, you're leaving a big hole in your defenses, and any PvPer who's knows what he's doing will be able to exploit that hole, however if you go with Acid layers plus a PSG, then you don't leave yourself with any gaping holes. The other option would be to go with two Acid layers and one Stun layer, but at that point, the amount of Acid protection you'd get against the AP2 DXR6b would be very minimal.

A third option, which I haven't seen anyone try yet would be to use two or three Acid layers plus one high Acid Krayt scale. This would allow you to still have decent Acid plus one Stun layer, or you could go with all Acid layers plus the Krayt scale and potentially get your Acid resist up close to 60%.

I like to do it with my personal second suit 3 acid + krayt scale .... not sure If i go with green or Yellow cubes

I wouldn't bother PVPing in ris anyway...gimme my 90% composite with stunplease.

Even a suit as good as this...is more like the trophy of a crafter than something useful in battle.

just because ris is not for pvp doesn't mean its a useless trophy.
