Sure, be happy to, from my perspective at least:

• Okram complained the Devs weren't listening; made a peaceful protest among the AS by telling them to send 1 pm each to a redname , and then was promptly fired from his corro position with no blue glowie status, prompting the forums here to revolt.


• I acted out of ignorance


• Tiggs posted the day after that the Corro position was now open, which led to more flames. I still think im the most important person, with the most important ideas on this board.


• Took the weekend off, came back, and realized I was being a jerk to people, And I still acted like the most important person.


• Forum life begins to return to semi-normalcy, and is becoming more constructive again, with a few small pockets of flamers still holding out here and there, for good reason

I'd like to point out that Blixtev and Helios_SWG (commando) have posted infinitely more on the AS and Commando forums than any other dev. The devs have NOT posted on any of the other profession forums, and the only response you should expect is from the Correspondent from information they recieve and the patch notes on TC.

True, Blixtev did drop by and make a couple posts early on. But there still has yet to be ANY response to the issues Okram brought up. In fact, he got canned because he tried to get a response. So, I'm still expecting "the only repsonse you should epect is from the correspondent...". Since we don't have a correspondent, it should then fall onto the devs shoulder's to inform us about the state of our issues.

• Okram complained the Devs weren't listening; abused his authority by advocated mass spamming PMs to the devs for a response which broke the rules, and then was promptly fired from his corro position with no blue glowie status, prompting the forums here to revolt.


• I got involved, defended the fact that the devs were merely enforcing the rules we should abide by, and got flamed, and then I lost my cool and began flaming back.


• Tiggs posted the day after that the Corro position was now open, which led to more flames. I tossed my hat in the arena, and engaged in a flame war with several people who did not want me in that position. Anyone else who said they tossed their hat in the ring also was promptly flamed by the community.


• Took the weekend off, came back, and realized I was being a jerk to people, and only fanning the flames more. Constructive posts began appearing again. Apologized for my behaviour, but reiterated that it was only my behaviour I was apologizing for, not for the points I believe in. Let people know I no longer would be seeking the Corro position, and would only accept it if it were insisted by the devs that I take it.

I definitely was here. I didn't particularily find your posts offensive. In fact, I agree with you on *some* of your opinions.

I can say that your retort to the OP was just ridiculous. It was the only post of yours I found to be unnecessary, to be honest (minus the flames). Give the guy the info he wants, not a storyline about your forumwar. Truth be told, the flames/tension on this board have VERY little to do with you, and obviously hinge mostly on the situation at hand. I don't mean to come down on you, but man, don't relive the bad situation, especially to someone who was lucky enough to miss it!

Its not even the new resources that get me. Its the fact that I have spent millions on stuff that isn't that great, but is the best stuff for making armor (i.e. best bery copper on flurry is something like OQ 840 SR 500). And of course, the massive increase in resources. I didn't mind paying 10-20 CPU for some resources (100-200 CPU for organics) because I knew that they would last a very long time. My investments now are worth 0 CPU.
