Yes, glasses can be made with any grade of material. It doesn't effect the outcome.
As far as harvestors, I recomend trying what you got. Some Chef's buy alot of resources. You need to get a feel for it.
Hope that helps.

Those are BE aditives. There are three basic type, each type having three different levels. These you need to buy or pick up BE as a profession. Again, this is not something to dabble. Good quality is a must and a MBE needs to make them.
This site has a good rundown on them.... http://www.swgbe.mmospy.com/modules.php?name=Tissues
You should take a good look at the tutorial on this forum, it covers the basics on this. Other than that, just read as much on Chef's and BE's as you can.

Hello everyone. I just started the grind to master armorsmith and was curious if anyone could give me some help. Whether it be grind resources or something as simple as advice. The character I am doing this with is my alt. and I have no clue how to do get started in this. My main did weaponsmith but I just couldn't experiment for crap. So if you can help me please let me know.

HI Ofod,
The best advice I can give you is to print out " The Complete Guide to Armor and Armorcrafting" located in the top of this forum as a sticky. Put it in a 3 ring binder if possible as it will be something you need to refer to often at first. Its best to have it in a notebook of some kind.
Heres a link to ISS which lists out what materials you need and what they go into. Just click on the "hitlist" then "armor".

As far as the amounts I'm not sure.
Good Luck
