another question.. is krayt armor segments the best segments to put in armor? and can u still havea stun layer with them in?

I'm not the leading authority on Krayt segments, but...

The best depends totally on the quality of the segments. Any Krayt segments under about 17-20% are not going to be any better than what most masters can make unlayered. Most smiths can make 25-30% or more layered composite segments. Also it pushes all the resists to Special so you cant slice it. No you can't put a stun layer in it as they are already complete segments.

Now if you find some 40% segments, those might make some nice stuff.

i was just wondering what you guys put into armor to give them the different resists that they have? i know that different loots (vor segs) give a certain amount of resists, but does it also depend on the other mterials used or what?

oh and for any bloodfin armorsmiths that see this i've got around 12 krayt segs and a bunch of vor ones. if i brought these to you could you make me some armor? if i did what would the cost to me be if i wanted a) a set of ubese, or b) a set of composite?

im not an armorsmith but an artistan im getting ready to set up on harvesters on about 5 accounts and would like to know what is in demand and would turn a good profit as i have not bought anything yet.

I agree. Polymer that lets you make Kinetic Layers with 1/1/1 encumb is hard to find. Only a few spawns on tempest ever as far as I know, and the stuff I've been using was over a year ago, so I'm running out

If something like that spawned on my server, I'd be harvesting it with all my lots, and buying more of it as well.
