Yep, sure am. I have my XP Monitor up when crafting too.
After crafting a full suit of Mabari, a couple of Bone Bracers, and various cores and segments, I've got about 980 AS XP.
And apologies for the bumpage, just kinda bummed... 
100 xp per crafted item... *shudders*
That's going to take some time to grind through - sorry, I know you don't want to hear this but it is supposed to take a while -having said that, I do have some sympathy aswill most of us who endured the grind for so long.
Can anyone recall what xp the Mabari chest plates and Ubese Armor shirts used to give pre-CU? If I recall correctly, it wasn't much more than 100 xp - somewhere around 120 xp per chest plate wasn't it? Those things also requiredarmor segs and factory crates of Syn Cloth.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Correct. I did factory runs of mabari segs and tailor comps pre CU and made mabari suits to sell for cheap on the bazaar for a good chunk of my XP. Back then, usage XP worked, though. I'd sport a new set of mabari every trip to the factories and try to get beat up by critters for a bit
It was fun watching xp increase as my health decreased lol. I think you got about 120 out of a chest craft but could get at least another 100 out of it being used through a few fights.
