It seemed that there were going to be very positive steps forward when Callandryl was brought in, but he lasted a scance few weeks. Tyrant's departure (under shady circumstances) has only made things worse. The fact of the matter is that for every two steps forward the current SWG Development team makes in communicating with its customers (who actually know the game better and have a much more comprehensive vision of what the game should be), they seemingly take five steps back.
We're three weeks away from the putative release of the CURB and RotW. Curiously, this is also very close to Episode III's release ... odd how Lucas Arts handles that. The lack of developer-customer communication on the issues arising from the CURB, which will make or break this game, is appalling.
There are multiple, active members here on this forum that would likely serve well as a new correspondent. Blixtev has shown a willingness to adjust things based on the data and feedback we provide -- all hope is not necessarily lost.
SOE essentially has one chance to turn these lemons into lemonade. The clock is ticking.

Since we lost the AS correspondant, is there any word on a replacement? At this crucial time we certainly will need one.
And as soon as possible.
(lets try keep this positive guys, already enough negativity on this forum)

I plan to apply myself, However i am not a dedicated armoursmith, IE i play the proffession, but i spend more time on my tailor than i do Armoursmith. However id certainly work towards getting changes sorted, im not some whiney baby who cries at every change and stamps their feet, nor am i one
So if i DO get the position il be very sad, as it means those id like to see in correspondant position did not apply themselves
sounds like someone is sucking up for the job.... My god, if this happened to say commando's, the rest of the commando community would be posting bounties on your head..... to be collected by our brother's in arms, the BH's.......

no offence intended but i wouldn't like having you as a Corr due to the fact you admited yourself that you "play" your armorsmith and are more of a tailor I would rather have someone who has been doing this for a considerable amount of time and is dedicated to the armorsmith profession. Has a track record for good constructive posts, can convey his ideas in a well thought out manner and can argue till he is blue in the face using facts to back up his arguement.
Which is why she will prob be picked....

I propose we nominate someone from another profession as our new Correspondant. Maybe the Doc correspondant who now only has to deal with issues like "Does my bum look big in this?" and may be looking for a challenge

Id love someone like this also
so i hope they apply. Ive not applied myself yet, and not completely sure i will (if i see someone has applied that i would rely on myself, then i wont bother applying)
Ive been AS since dec 03 however and i just dont want to see the proffession fail because so many of the AS who would fill this role well, are too scared to apply because of how the AS community is (by a lot anyway) currently behaving.
