The Heavy Acid Rifle does acid damage to random pools too. Granted it's just a carbon copy of the flamer right now, only slower, with less damage, and no DoT, but who knows?!?!?! Someday they may make it worth using.

Then when you get hit by that 2500 acidcone you're going to want acid protection on every armor piece.

Why does nobody give props to Flushing Shot2? That thing is an asskicker for damage, and has cone AE on it. Using my Disruptor rifle, I can 1 shot you in the legs. Fun, eh?

The two most important ranged damage types in PvP are Stun, and Acid. Being vuln to them is not a minor inconvenience, it's a critical problem.
