Oh I am sure its not incorrect... and I am sure we are going to be letting the devs know it... because thats just a dumb list of resouces...
HORN does not even drop off of mobs... why cant they just make it a composite clone and not make it a joke... why not just copy ubese and change the name...
Thats an unreasonable amount of organic materials for the armor....
Thats an unreasonable amount of organic materials for the armor....
Every other armor in this game uses Inorganics for majority of the componets.....
Why do the wookiees need to be any diffrent....
jaato
Please Please go and argue against this list of stuipd resouces for the wookiee armors... The organics where fine in the ceremonial but not in the Composite Clone and the Ubese clone....
We need to work hard and get them to go to a realistic resouce requirement...

To be honest I bet the Devs would like to see composite require MORE organics rather than less, to make it even harder to make. Who would have guessed that I'd have 500k of the best nabooian fibroplast ever to spawn stored in my house? I also think that they believe that organics are an integral part of Wookie armor concept wise. I can argue this, but it's unlikely that it will change, just so you don't get your hopes up.
The horn thing is a big issue- especially since quantities a lot larger than 1 are required. If anyone knows of somewhere you can acquire horn other than small quantities in drops, please post the information. Otherwise, I'm going to bring this right to the dev's attention.

ya please just mention horn. I can live with the other stuff because it's wookie armor afterall, and that's organic... even though corellian wooly is a low blow

oh god! Dantooine avian bone! FFS! GOD DAMN! Have they learned nothing from chitin? The biggest reason chitin is such crappy armor that nobody makes is because of the dantooine animal bone requirement (well that and the fact that it has high hams and crappy resists). And now hunting armor requires dantooine avian bone.
It's like they're designing it to never be made. Like they're designing it for the express purpose of pissing us off.
Add to that the other named organics. FOUR goddamned named organics. NOT counting the horn requirement that we can only pray is a mistake.
Yeah why not design it so that it requires pixie dust and moon beams, it'll be easier to make. F uking devs, what a bunch of ass holes.
corellian wooly. how many durni's would you have to kill per suit of black mountina armor I wonder.
bah. what a joke.

Please don't give them any more ideas. This may sound too good of a suggestion to them. I really don't want to see afk AS in cnet spaming that they want pixie dust.

its just about that bad with the dant avian bones...
*rolls eyes and walks away muttering* this is why we wanted this list two weeks ago!!!!
OH Just some information I thought I would share about eclipses Dath Evergreen Soft wood that 100 units is used in the hunting armor right now..
51 OQ, 94 UT, 852 MAL, 66 SR and thats the primary resouce used in the armor... Humm lets see that adds up too oh yeah 117 in SR and OQ and 145 in UT+OQ and 903 MAL+OQ
Now lets add all those number together and I might get 1 number thats worth something... 1165 Hummm sorta...

Remember that shellfish sampling tool they added in as a quest reward not too long ago?
There lies the horn.
Now the FUN part, no extractors can be placed, hand sampling time baby!

Wow, i have all of those resources in good amounts and high quality. All except the2 types of wood from Yavin and the wood from Dathomir.
The current shift has crappy stats onthe 2Yavin woods, but the Dathomirian Evergreen has 900+ to OQ and MA, SR is low though
I'll put some harvestors on it when i get home.
I also have about 10-15 horns, which doesnt look like it'll be enough (I hope they do change this requirement or give us a way to find more of it easily). I was always wondering if the horns would come in handy and nearly destroyed them plenty of times.
I cant understand why alot of you are complaining about this armor?. You dont expect Armorsmithingto be that easy do you?
All the resources are easily harvested whether by mining or hunting, it's not that hard. Contracting miners/hunters is not that hard to do.
Another way to look at it is,a new armorsmith can go from novice to master in a couple days easily without knowing a thing about crafting armor.one quick browse over this forum, a few million credits on the high end resouces, and within a week that new armorsmith can be making the best armor that can compare to the quality of the veteran armorsmiths.
Making the resource requirements as hard as this new armorwill encourage varying qualities of products in the market alot more. I'm all for it. If you spend the time/money to get the best resources, then you deserve to make the best armor.
All that being said. Looks like i'll probably be in a good position to make some good Wookie Armor if i can get those missing resources, and more horn (havent looted any horn in a long time though..hmm).

This is one of the easiest organics to harvest. I have a 94k stack of high quality corellian wooly hide. Sure durni's and paralopes dont drop much, but it's easily obtained if you work for it.
BTW: I was lazy and got all that hideAFK. *giggle*. I love it when good wooly hide, insect meat, herbivore meat and leathery hide spawns on corellia.

1) Even rangers with the most patience refuse outright to collect corellian wooly hide at even 150 cpu. Dependent on servers of course, but id say that 90% of rangers wouldnt collect corellian wooly for you.
2) Have you seen the resource gaters of things like wood? Even if this armor were made, the nature of the resources would mean really bad stats.
Its not really an issue of armor making being hard or whatnot. Its more of an issue of giving wookiesgood armor which will be regularly stocked on vendors at an affordable price. With the current resource requirements, neither is going to happen.
