Sorry but not removing your helmet was rude, True she should have just ended the ID. I guess I'm just a sick puppy, but I find it very funny.
You may try posting you RL pic somewhere as a MID can see it, so he/she can get the look you want.

Well, since the clothing glitch often doesn't update a character's look in the ID screen even when they change clothes long before the session, it may not have made a difference. I do agree that ID customers should think about these things, but I think this kind of behaviour reflects really badly on all of us.

Sir Voor, I too find this amusing. I'm a sick pup with you.
And Areli, while I understandyour sentiment,I don't think it is a reflection on ALL of us. If you read about the smuggler profession, there are smugglers who steal weapons and armor people traded over to them CONSTANTLY. But not all smugglers do that. Those who do are rotten eggs. I'm gonna go on the assumption that there are rotten eggs in all the profs, including ours. Just because there is one person who would do something like that shouldn't lead to the conclusion among the populous that we all do that.

Oh dear how awful
The devs are aware of the helmet bug and don't like it. Let's cross our fingersthat they can find a solution (keeping in mind they're all frantically working on Pub 9 atm)

See if anyone else has had problems with that image designer. Even as a master I was very protective of my face. If someone had done this to me, there'd be a new name going on every blacklist I can find.

Wow, that wasn't very nice at all....and him not taking his helmet off is no reason to alter his appearance...especially if he had specified that all he wanted was a stat migration. I am working on ID as well, and as boring and tedious as it is, that doesn't justify us to play around with people just cause we are bored and they aren't watching lol.....

doing such thing is grossly inapropriate, if understandable ofr one that spent hours ina sweatsalon in coronet or theed.I for one vent off simply by refusing service to people that :
- dont remove at least their compo helmet
- dont store their ultra-big laser rifle
- dont know the words "hello" and "please"
- are overt imperials
but i tend to make some rebates for peoples that make some kind of effort in playing the game (and for rebels and wookies, too).

I don't see how if all he wanted was a stat migration how not taking off his helmet would be rude. Its just a helmet. Now if he had wanted face work done and didn't take off his helmet then yes that would be rude but all he wanted was a simple stat migration and nothing more.

Further, it wouldn't have resolved anything in his benefit, as armor [helmets especially] are graphically bugged and don't update until you cross a server boundary [in the ID window], so you're still stuck looking like you did when you shuttle'd into Theed or wherever in the ID window.

Regardless of what the client did, such behaviour is totally inappropriate. When I was still Master ID, I carefully remodelled my face, to look just like I wanted it, and I'm very careful with it. I never let any ID do any work on me. I think it's not a good thing that the client cannot see what is happening to his character in an ID session. It shouldn't be very hard to implement something that allows the client to see just what features were altered.

Wow, that stinks. It looks like you're on a different server than I or I'd offer to try to fix it m'self. Do you have either a pic of you really or a screen shot of your old face for someone to work from?

David, that sucks. I work on Tempest and although I'm not a master ID, I'd be willing to do a free facial reconstruction - to the best of my ability for you. My in-game name is Bilca Lightstar. Send me a tell.
I can understand Image Designers getting upset with clients, but even if this one was upset, it doesn't warrant this. Here's an example of the type of client that makes our job harder:
I had a client the other day by the name of Osriskwho asked for a free stat change. I said my service was cheap (10K), but not free. He complained some more but decided to go ahead anyway. So I started to change his stats. All the time he complained about how he couldn't afford a buff or to get the shuttleif he paid 10K. So I eventually told him that if he was so concerned about getting a buff, we could cancel the session and he could go get his buff. He declined and we kept going. At the last second he changed his offer to 1K, which I didn't notice and so I tried to click on 'commit'. Thankfully I had remembered to put in my price, so it didn't go through. I told him nicely that if he wanted it to workhe had to match my price. He changed it back to 10K and we finished the session. Then I thanked him and he told me to "piss off". Only then did I give him a piece of my mind, hehe. Naturally, Osrisk is not getting service from me ever again.
