I'd work Pistol / Carbine up first before LLC that way you don't get too depressed at the rate of wich they go up.(LLC goes up really fast, pistol isn't that bad and carbine..uggh)

Make a list of every material used in Advanced Ubese, Advanced composite, Stun Layers, and Kinetic Layers.

Start collecting them now....lots of them

You will need them...and I reiterate...lots of them

Learn about resources and what makes them good or bad for armor.

Read this board a lot, there is abunch of good info here

Hi all. I was wondering what a Dancer would consider to be a good tip? I dont like listening to AFK'tainers so i usally try and find the ones that are at keyboard and i like to tip, so what do most entertainers think is a fair polite tip?

For me, when it's a general tip not a mind buff tipanything is fine, especially if it goes along with a friendly attitude from the clientele .

Just for healing minds while at the keyboard, we can be tipped anywhere from 25 credits to 10K. Unless you have millions, 25 credits is not an insult I think most entertainers assume that you're tipping what you can afford, and not only what you think they're worth. Don't worry about being new and not having much to give. A few creditsor justa kind word are all that are needed to let us know we're appreciated.

So thank you for caring

Even if you have millions (I do too ) 25 credits is just fine with me. It is still an indication that you noticed someone is there. However it is in rather poor taste I think.I've never received sucha low tip from anyone who had even a moderate amount of wealth. If someone asks me what I prefer to be tipped, I tell them whatever they are comfortable with. I am simply flattered that they spoke to me at all anymore!

As for myself, I usually tiptwothousand if my tailor just got a bit beat up on a harvester run and needs a quick heal. If we're talking serious damage (I forget to clone a lot) then 5k. I tip 10k for a buff as that seems to be the going rate on our server (but we do have an inflation problem so that might not be valid elsewhere). If someone entertains me I will tip much, much more.

id more or less agree with everyone so fa,r normal tips ive had are 25 creds to about 20k (anything above 10k is very rare though), 1k-5k is a fairly common region, buffing wise ive gotten 3-10k, and i tned to leave that up to patrons as well (anyone with any sense will realise if you tip rediculously low for a buff you probably wont get oen again)

Something I've always found fun is when someone doesn't tip me monetarily. Some of the best tips have been crafted items such as droids, pets (or pet deeds), vehicles, stims, armor bits, weapons, clothes, etc. Almost anything can serve as a tip and getting a non-monetary tip is always an exciting thing. If the entertainer can't use the item, he or she can always take it down to the bazaar and sell it or give it to someone who is in need.

So far as money, I basicly agree with the others, whatever someone can afford to tip they do. An entertainerwill probablybe just as thankful for 25 credits from a new person as they are when someone with multi-millions tips 10k, tips are a very relative thing.

To be honest with you, considering how bad things have gotten...the best tips I receive are the people who talk to me and tell me how much they appreciate someone being ATK, and how much it matters to them that I'm not afk.

Money...yes, that's good, and any kind of monetary tip is even more appreciated. But, even the small ones of 100 credits are so make me happy. The money is icing on the cake at this point. It's the interaction, appreciation, and support that matters the most to me.

Mindbuffs, of course, are a different story.

Im happy with any amount of tip. Its more about acknowledgment than the money. I love getting dancing mind enhancment tapes as tips I also try to thank everyone that tips me, even if it is only 25 credit. Just to let them know I appreciate them appreciating me (If that makes any sense, Im very tired, lol)

Tips are always lovely as a show of appreciation from a kind/grateful customer , but as a general rule if you're going to tip for heals/general entertainment I'd suggest no less than 1000 credits because to be honest anything less does make you look a little cheap. BUT saying that if you are new, or you can't afford a 1K tip, then simply thanking the entertainer, or sending them a tell after your tip to let them know you're a bit hard up for cash at the moment, is a great thing to do. Just don't run into a cantina wearing composite armor, wielding a geo blaster, and telling your entertainer that you can only afford a 500 credit tip - we see the best and the worst types in the galaxy and we're a lot more wise to jerks than we're given credit for

On the topic of buffs, being someone who makes most of my income from master dancer mind buffs, I take no less than 3K for a mind buff and most people tip anywhere from 5K to 100K. A word of warning to the entertainers - I'd strongly suggest not buffing someone who tells you they can't afford to pay you, I have seen this happen -so- many times, and been sucked in by it a few times myself, where a player gets a free master mind buff, then runs in 20 minutes later having received his 10K set of doctor buffs and needing heals (where of course I /denyservice and /addignore because I'm so annoyed). Mind buffs are a service, like doctor buffs, out of respect for yourself don't just give them away.

Oops, I got a bit sidetracked there, sorry
