Yeah I usually go down by the village. It is still by far the most hated place I have the go to get something. 4-5km just to get fiberplast. Ugh.
Getting it isn't the problem, getting something good is.

Resists wise all battle armor can be made the same. RIS has a lot better condition than regular armor thus making it a little bit better choice (almost twice padded or marauder). Since you are interested in sockets (which are random in the assembly), then definately go RIS as it will last longer before the suit's condition is gone.

I'm not sure if condition will be a large issue. I've been thinking of dropping an ADK on the pieces such as helmet, chest, and pants. Also do you've to bio link every type of armor?
I've been out of the loop for some time and I've very little experience outside of Jedi post cu. What parts of a suit get hit with the most damage? Is it still head and chest?

I've also only seen marauder armor with eng/kin protection with 6.5k resists.

No, you only have to biolink faction armor (and there's an ROTW quest armor). Again, all battle armor can be made with the same resists. The marauder you saw was probably made with added primus layers. You can make all battle armor with that same protection, whether it's bone or RIS or padded.

c'mon though...padded is the dorkiest looking armor ingame, I'd have to say buy RIS for that reason alone. Though I guess RIS sorta looks dorky too with the catholic school girl gone samauri in a bad way look....

Nah, padded is pretty slick looking (yeah, yeah, I know. The helmet).

What is the highest energy resist I could probably get from a 12pt master AS making me a set of battle armor, and how much would it probably cost?
Thanks.

7200 with perfect resources, if I understand my new fave prof correctly (throw eggs at me if its wrong
)...this will be done with energy layers, and give 7200 Energy, 4800 Kinetic 6000 base.
But the chances are it wont be with perfect resources, but should be over 7k.
As for cost...depends on server and generosity of the AS.![]()
