Titan, you bring up a good point. My template is Master pistoleer, BH 444 0, and medic 0 0 4 0, as well as FS ranged acc 2, and FS ranged def 4. I have had the bh and pistoleer part of my temp for a year now, and i have only been dizzy kd by a rifleman about 3-4 times maybe(my dodge + defences help vs riflemen). When I do get dizzy kd, i can usualy stand up pretty quick, if my health is hurting i spam stand and healdamage. Using 40 use stim e's usualy heals me close to full health/action. Riflemen will see this and then switch to mind damage if they are smart.
Fact is that when dealing with defense, you're only as strong as your weakest point. As demonstrated above, despite strafe's strength with a jawa, the mind pool is STILL the weakest target on a player wearing this suit of armor. So to strengthen your defense, you have to sacrifice a little from your stronger areas to strengthen the weaker areas. Lowering stun resists on the non-helmet pieces does weaken the suit, but the lower encumberance allows the mind pool to regen faster, which strengthens the weak mind pool, at minor cost to the still stronger health pool.
Plus, the lower encumberance (this suit is probably around 400 less mind encum than a heavy stun suit) could instead offer the option of using one less brandy, or one less canape, to eat other more useful PVP food (mando wine for example?). Either way, you come out much stronger defensively by trading the extra stun resists from where it isn't really needed for lower mind encumberance.
And on an aside, I feel that my suit, despite being slightly weaker on 8/9 pieces, is still a stronger suit due to the better helmet![]()

to the guy suggesting a strafing jawa would hurt....well you're right. But do a little math...
-take the best jawa I've ever crafted, 202-698 dmg powered up
-assume Vasily is wearing a PSG with 50% stun resist (unsliced they're a touch lower, sliced they're much higher, but this makes the numbers easy)
-assume the rifleman attacking him is speed-capped
159 average mind dps with headshot3 through the helmet
vs
371 average random pool dps with strafe2 through the 12% stun pieces
(that's if vasily has no ranged mitigation...with mit3, the ratio is the same, just smaller numbers)
Then consider...the random pool shot will be dispersed and probably only hit health 1/2 to 2/3 of the time (so figure around 159 mind vs 200 health dmg). A buffed PVPer will have a larger health pool and probably faster health regen rates as well. Plus, health can easily be healed, mind cannot.
Ask any experience PVPer if they'd rather do 159 mind damage or 200 health damage and get back to me.
