Hi, I have a question about faction armor for my alt. Do I have to have a certain amount of faction points to wear the armor or just to bio-link it?

Thank you

One more question . . . Can I wear it before it is bio-linked?

You have to be combatant to wear it though.

Ok, sometimes I can be slow about the fighting/armor side of the game lol So the first time I try to equip it I have to have enough faction points to bio-link it and be a combatant? But then I could go back on leave and as long as I don't take it off then I will still be able to wear it?

Thank you all for your input on this

Yes. And if you do take it off while on leave, you will need to be combatant again to put it back on (but won't need any more faction points).

Can I go combatant, put on factional armor and then go on leave? I know I can still wear that armor then, but does it protect me the same as if I was still combatant? Same question goes for when I clone.

yes, you can go back on leave if you already are a combatant and spend the 9k (sometimes) FP needed to equip it

I wear Reb factional armor as a BH.

If I die after being a combatant, I clone "on-leave".

The armor stays on, and there is no change to the protection.

If you unequip it, you have to re-declare as a combatant to put it back on again.

But, you DO NOT have to spend the faction points to wear it again. You only have to spend the faction points to initally bio-link it to you the first time you wear it.
