Thread: TESTED! Sliced armor does NOT decay faster than Non-Sliced armor!!!

its been proven that the only thing that makes armor decay faster is the % on the resists, the lower they are the morecondition the armor will lose when u are being attacked. i proved it by myself when i was trying out ubese armor on ranged mobs and melee mobs. since the energy % was only 17 i would lose much more condition than if i had been hit by a melee mob(82% kin) after i thought that it was true i tested it with composite armor and any other armor i could get my hands on.

I'm still not clear that the different armor types don't have different decay rates based on the amount of damage that gets past the resists + AR (which is the only thing that matters, it seems- low resistance armors will let a high amount of damage get through and high resistance armors a low amount of damage). You're right about the way to test it, though- just make up a low resist piece of composite (or advanced composite, I wonder if that makes a difference) and shoot at it for a bit. If no one's done that by the time I get back next week, I'll give that a shot.
