Next time you die, if you clone it will stack. So say if you die again, instead of losing 200k xp, you'll lose 400k.

Yep, as long as you rez, no xp loss, just keep in mind it's keeping track of how many times you've died, so the next time you clone it will smack you down with a nice sized xp loss.

go finish the hero of tatooine quest you get a ring that has 50 res charges that you can use once every 23 hours. this means if you play careful stay off the terms there are enough charges to take you all the way to a finished template at jedi knight and avoid all XP loss through normal deaths.

of course if you already wasted it on something foolish like doing the corvette. then... you better have a doc handy.

the quest has changed. the old hermit to start you off is in the bottom of the squill cave. there are complete guildes on how to do it all. i suggest since your already jedi get some friends to escort you down to talk to him.

might want to hire a ranger. i was master ranger when i did it. the whole hero quest all the parts took me a total of 6 hours. but i was thinking waaaaay ahead to being jedi someday.

I think it is intentionally, if it is a bug, the Devs have kept their mouths shut about it.
