Okay, for lunch I logged on and did a quick test with the Interwoven RIS Segment I made last night. The interwoven segment does fit into the slot for the RIS segment when you assemble a piece of RIS armor. I tested this for a bicep and the chestpiece.

The significance of this is that the interwoven RIS segment does not require a GDK scale to make. The ramifications should be apparant. I can only guess this is an oversight...maybe our correspondent can bring it up with Blix and find out. If it goes to live, buy interwoven schematics for 3 to 5 million, so you can factory make up to 20 segments and save yourself tens of millions on GDK scales.

Who says RIS is going to be more rare in the CU?

Yeah, thought about that for a second. But someone else would have figured it out sooner or later, and then I'd becalled a'sploiter.

I personally hope they just haven't converted the Interwoven Schems yet (like Layers, Shards etc) and when they do not only will they change the requirements but they'll make it so they add some additional protection stats to the Armour, would be nice for those of us that have a few of them anyway.

The making of RIS without a GDK Scale thing definately makes it sounds as if they have forgotten/not got around to converting them yet anyway.

Hey maddix

So far, the converted RIS armor on TC servers has been converted to the same stats reguardless if they have been Interwoven armor or not. A small bummer, also unless something has changed in their Conversion tweeks over the past days, converted RIS has had zero encumbrances to acc/speed/movement. (Have been stuck in TC-EP3 server for the past days )

Question is, will this change, if it hasn't changed allready? I am sitting on 3 interwoven RIS schematics (cries) and 42 GDK scales and enough partsto build 42 parts of RIS armor as it is now (+ tons of yellow cubes, ns scales/shards). Wait or get everything built now and pray for the best?

Did you see a "Health Bonus: +X" from the Feathered Layer Enhancement?

Blix.... Any chance we can get you to span/kill some creatures and drop off scales, hides, bones, schems, cubes etc so we can test the RIS crafting etc on TC? I'm sure there is a lot of loot out there that we aren't able to test.

Does that mean that the Feathered Enhancement will give some kind of health bonus to the wearer if put into armor?

That would Rock!

Re: Health-enhancing enhancers.

Pardon me for not gettingparticularlyexcited over a potential 50-point health boost for a full suit. Huzzah.

Health bonus from your armor? Ok, who at the devs has mistaken this for a fantasygame? Seriously, have you even did any canon research about this or is part of the dev teams now run by the dragonmaster? :/ Seriously, healthbonus from your armor... that isn't even funny.

I don't know, a health boost to armor sounds kinda' cool and it's no crazier than being able to burst run more efficiently when you have some sort of tape attatched to your hat.
