Thread: Question on 100% base Krayt Segments

you really have this segment and it is only exceptional? this thing should be called something above even legendary. i would personally not even bother building armor out of it and auction them. if your server is large you could fetch 50 mil for these or higher. the highest segment i have heard of was like 45 base and that made a 80 base chest and helm. can you post a screenshot? thank you.

Will cap at 80%.
I just finished working with some 67% ones and made some nice helmet and boots.
I actually spent most of the experimentation on durability for the boots because I felt the ham was low enough already (21) and it was a choice of either decreasing ham by 1-1-1 or increasing the dur by 1k...
In the end I got a helmet with 204 mind ham 52k dur and 90% base post slice...( could have gotten ham a little lower, maybe to 199 but I didn't want to spend last experimentation pt on ham for just a 2-3% more result so I ended up spending 2 pts in dur experimentation...).
Got unlucky with boots and had ham slice so boots are only like 15 mind ham, 80% base and 60k dur....

Man. I just looked at the screenshot of them. If i attempted a helm and pants I would surely get two critical failures in the assembly with my luck. Absolutely stunning what kind of loot falls in this game.

It's fairly easy to protect yourself against critical failures if you want to.
+25 armor assembly tapes, research center, food for the assembly and then Bestin port for the experimentation and you are pretty set...

Ok, question all of you how have made these before. These are Kryatt segments or scales? These would add into the armor assembly instead of the composte segment or in the composite segment in the enhancement slot / box.
So if this would, if you maded armor, give 80 on all the resists (like composite), and you would be able to add a stun layer.?

layers go into segments. These are segments so they would have the stun hole in the armor. I have personally never seen krayt scales with a base on them either. not sure if they exist, maybe they do. there are tons of loots i have never seen that are awesome.
