Faction is still transferable, but the armor schematics are not. So long as you can get the faction to your MAS, he can buy them.

Damn sucks, for all those alien species Imperial Armorsmiths. I had a deal in place to sel a full suit's worth schematics (all ten pieces) for 3 million credits. The other armorsmith (a mon clamari) was estatic since it was going to cost them 2.5 million credits (of faction points) for just one schematic.

So not only are they penalized cause they cant wear full suits, they are given a double penalty if they buy from some other species than a human. Damn! Glad I am a human MAS .

I am a Wook MAS and a set of 9 schematics for a full suit costs me about 1.6m creds.

I have done this three times now and even with the "Inspiration Buff" it still takes about the same amount. Maybe only 1.5m with the inspire buff.

Considering the current market price for the factionarmor, still not a bad deal.

But are you Imperial or Rebel? Cost Imperials alot more if not human, sinc ehte Empire is Exnophobic (sp?).
