Give us:
1: Working PSG's. WIthout stat shifts, and without needing to equip-unequip all the time.
2:Fix the ARMOR HOLE, it is still there.
3: To a lesser extent, working Tantel and RIS that covers stun.
4. A crafters apron that every other DAMN profession got.
5. A full set of ADVANCED tantel, not this 3 pieces crap. (how hard would it be....some leggings, gloves and arm sheaths(biceps and bracer combined)
6. A rebalance of the armor making Padded and Tantel have a use in this game.
Then worry about this uber-rare, 3 suits per server, loot only crap. If it is loot only, it doesn't really concern us anyway does it?
I am not gonna be happy at all until at least 1,2, and 4 are in this game, there is no excuse for those things.

Yes please!

Personally, I think adding Wookie armor and Mandalorian armor is great, but something like that I feel shouldn't be added or considered until the basic needs of the profession are met.

What I mean is that we have an entire skill tree which is useless to us and there are talks about adding more armor. Not even that but if you wanted to make one, most of the componets you can't do much with and have no effect on the final deflector itself. The fact that there somewhat complex though doesn't bother me cuz they don't require specific resources.

Anyways, please fix the stat shifting and the armor hole and everything else that needs to be done before you add more armor. Please

Two wrongs, I mean three....uh, four, I mean.....well, a whole bunch of wrongs don't make a right.

Or, if we are going to say "to hell with continuity" then give me a lightsaber that I can use (I'm not a jedi). Give everyone a lightsaber next christmas.

That's actually not out of continuity. Jedi were not the only ones who could use a saber, just the most proficient at it.

Why go threw the effort of making a 9 peice suit of armor that only 3 people per server will be able to get? Maybe I am selfish, but I want content updates that I can enjoy... I don't have time to devot my life to this game. Fix the problems, make our skilltree more useful, add some diversity,THEN add content that the 3 best players can enjoy....

I just can't believe it.... 3 people? I want armor that is comparable to composite... just so when I log in I can see more diversity and customization.

Anyway, maybe I am wrong... but this is just one mans opionion

OT: IG Assassin droids

Hate to be "that guy," but if memory serves me, the IG series droids were security droids, not necessarily assassins. I believe IG-88 had a programming flaw combined with too much time between data wipes, thus causing it to fail and become a criminal.

The Mandalorians were a group of "supercommandoes" whose biggest claim to fame is that they were hired to hunt and kill jedi (perhaps after the Republic turns on the jedi in Ep III?). So far, it's unclear if Jango was a Mandalorian or if he just had the armor.

It's a catch-22. If they go the RIS direction, no one will have a suit, and if an armorsmith ever gets around to actually being able to make a full set, it will be so expensive that the person with the most money in the galaxy--not the most feared warriors in the galaxy--will be the ones wearing it. It'll be a status symbol like some much else in MMORPGs.

On the other hand, Mandalorian armor looks great and will likely have impressive stats. If they make it a normal schematic, then the galaxy will be populated by Boba-clones (no pun intended).

I suppose part of the solution might be to make it a certificate item, so that only master commandoes and/or master bounty hunters can wear it. This might be an interesting approach--profession-specific armor is an area that SWG hasn't explored at all yet.

Well, thanks to Lucas and his wonderful love of changing canon on the fly, you can say they were both.

In every EU publication centered around the time of the OT, the creation of the IG series droids is credited to Holowon Laboraties, under contract from the Empire to create a series of assasin droids. Upon activation, IG-88 was a bit more "aggresive" than they anticipated. He killed the scientists in the lab cell with him, downloaded his conciousness to the other IG droids in the cell, and they proceed to run amok.

Fast forward (or rewind) to the new Cartoon Network Clone Wars cartoons. Some asshat decided that the Intergalactic Banking Clan's security droids (the mounted lancers, who fought along side the bounty hunter whose name escapes me) should look like the IG series droids from the OT. So now the Intergalactic Banking clan is credited with the creation of the IG series to use as a security force.

Hooray for continuity

Someone explain to me why player-worn Mandalorian armor is some kind of sacred cow to most of the SWG community. We've got tons of Jedi in a time where Jedi were essentially non-existant, NPC's based off of the IG series assassin droids just hanging out shooting the breeze with their buds in the cantinas and starports, bounty hunter trainers just lounging around in this stuff, and I've even come across NPC "bounty hunters" during missions wearing full suits of this stuff (minus the helm). Hell, Pex logs in with a set of the stuff every once in a while.

Why are we willing to accept the Jedi hordes and the myriad of continuity breaks with NPC bounty hunters, yet if more than a tiny group of extremely hardcore players wants to get their hands on some Mandalorian the community is up in arms.

My only guess is that the super-hardcore powergamers need/want something to show their status. Look at RIS and the Nightsister bicep - no one actually wants to go into combat with them, they just want to sit around the Theed starport and have everyone gawk at their "phat lewtz".

We ran into the same problemwith the other MMOG I was activein, Motor City Online (stop laughing). The devs put tons of semi-rare parts and car skins in the game, but instead of racing them and addingvariety to the game, people just sat around in the chat rooms with them hoping someone would click on their profile to see their "rare" ride. Considering there was no decay on the cars, most of the PvP types in the game (beleive it or not most people in a racing MMOG are afraid to race against each other for fearof losing face) thought it was pretty stupid to let items like these rot away so that some hardcore powergamercould use them as a status symbol.

I say put Mandalorian in the game without making it the single most rare item around. There are plenty of ways to keep it from becoming the next composite - something like making it so that you can only get one set and the wearer gets a TEF to all BH's (since they all want a set of their own) to keep people from AFK sitting their Mandalorian equipped toon in a starport to showcase their uberness.

no way, i played MCO too I raced like hell though
