Mostly all players are falling into one of two categories. Either believing "Pre-Nerf" (pre-cu) will wind up being better or "Post-Nerf" will bring such drastic changes, that the older armors will be pretty much useless. That being said, its a gamble for most people. And Most people would rather wait. There will be a point where, if the old stuff is valuable, then eventually it will start to dwindle from wear and tear or saving for special occasions. Then the new armors will pick up.
If you need credits now, AUK would be the way to go. And decorative suits for guilds.
If you have enough money to sit around and wait for the inevitable evolution, then hoard your resources. The successful AS will be the one who comes running out the gate to supply the demand when players resign to using the new armors.
For the most part, the CU will eventually cast the crafters, especially weaponsmithies and armorsmithies even higher into the stratosphere. Take my word on it!
