I sign if they also put in a way to stack crates that are the same serial # (so you can buy stuff in affordable groups like you can with resources)

Open the radialmenu and choose "split". You'll get a menu asking you what size of the new stack and that's it.

Well... There we go... no reason to have crates less than 1000. I mean the schematics are for 1000. Sure would help cut down on their database items.

Man... If all that synth cloth I had could be put in one crate instead of like 40...

Exactly. I kind of doubt the devs are worried that people will just stock up more on components then or what. I just can't imagine making 40 crates of cloth down to one being a bad thing. Structure modules come in 100 so I know that is at least possible.

I would also prefer to see this be selectable in the factory. The hopper limit will still unsure people don't make a bunch of 2 item crates if the devs are worried about that.

I like that Idea. Would make life lots easier. Powerup crates suck, 10 is not cool. Layers are 100, why can't others? Good idea.

Excellent idea, I make imperial psg's all day and i love the thought of 6 crates instead of 100 something. Eben stacks of 100 would work for me, but why stop there gives us stacks of 1k. It shouldn't cause coding problems in theory, resources stack to 100k so why should facrory crates be any different?

I agree on the crates of 1K (or at least 100 for everything).

That would end a lot of hassle. If you want smaller crates for selling, split 'em. Factory crates are frequently used as just another resource so having them be limited to 20, 25, 40, 50, 100 is limiting. And they should stack back after spliting or from one "box" to another (same serial number). It would even be nice if the looted stuff with the same serial number would stack. I got a huge number of segments off-loaded onto me and they're taking up waaaaaaay too much room.

Pain =

To make 1 mark 3 shield run you need 87 different crates. (332 shields)

While we're asking for things....

1) Why does it take 240 seconds to make a segment, and the same amount of time (240 seconds) To make a jacket which requires 4 of those segments.

2) Why don't factories give time requirements in Seconds, Minutes, Hours and days. For example. making 1000 partical shield components takes 240,000 seconds. Hence the need for a calculator just to figure out how long that will take. (66.6 hours)

3) Structure Moduals: If the entire game loads on demand, Why can't we have these items ? I'm an armorsmith, I'm not allowed to have house furnishings, Only stacks, and endless stacksof resources

4) A moving Company:Ever had to move everything you owned to another planet? Back pack, By back pack. Last count, I was up to 1600 items. I'll pay A surcharge if Sony will just move everything for me.

5) PSG's: That work, and are not slated for almost 1.5 years after release to be fixed.

Opps.

Rant Off

Oh man, I just moved in game myself. Its almost worse than moving in real life. Terrible waste of time. Took me 3 days to do it. I'm still not fully set up again. Its rediculous.
