You get 294 xp with cores on Double xp week. I'm only getting 186xp on the Ubese. I may give this a go tonight! I was lucky enough to get to 4000 before they nerfed the AUK's. My main character was a Post CU Master, but I decided to change back to all combat and create an alt.
The grind is bad, reminds me of the days when I was grinding WS for Jedi. I hated that as well, but atleast the xp was fasterfor weaponsmiths. I think you could get about 400 normal xp for a WS item. Made the grind a bit better.

Forget about the cores as soon as you can. Way to much time involved in making the preparations for it, then the combine. Even though Ubese shirts only give 186 during this week I can grind about 1k-1.5k xpevery minute. I would get to 3xxx as soon as possible and make the switch to Ubese shirts. My resource usage is next to nothing for the grind. I think i'll be lucky if I use 100k of Steel, Fiberplast, and Iron for all of it. I used this much in the first 30 minutes on Shipwright.
