Hate to say it but we had full suits of faction armor sitting in our guild hall that were affected with the bug that wouldn't let anyone pick them up. Well, after the patch this morning they have all vanished.
I think the AS who created them is going to be majorly upset when he learns this. They took a lot of time/effort/resources to create and were never able to be used or even picked up by the players they were made for.
This would be about the worst possible way I could imagine to deal with this bug.

Sorry it was right on top, guess that's why I didn't see it in the link thread.
Lol breaking the laws of metaphysics...

Did you submit a ticket? That's honestly the best way to deal with it before calling it a bug.

Jedi are free to wear any armor they are certed for, just can't use force powers while the armor is on.

Update to earlier:
Full set of Padded - all 9 pieces came out perfect as they were meant to.
Full set of Composite - all 9 pieces reverted to the default silver colour.
Full set of Composite - 6 pieces came out perfectly, 3 pieces (Left Bicep, Left Bracer & Right Bracer) came out with random colours on one or more sections.
I mean damnit...they can't even keep the bugs consistant.
Oh btw, I decided to replace the horse we flogged into glue...in case anyone wondered

As I understand it, from reading various boards, bio-link items have been dissapearing all over the place. Not just armor. Proton rifles went missing as well.

The only *new* bug I've found is that the optimization bar for metals when making armor in the final combine doesn't appear until after you've dumped something in that box. Formerly, it let you look at what the game thought would be the best values based on what you had selected. Now, you have to select something, and put it in before any bogus green bar appears (not clear on how accurate the bars were anyway).

The bars are accurate. They relate to the maximum cap on each resource.
For instance. Crafting an Energy layer needs Alantium ore.
Alantium has a VERY low cap on SR but a higher cap on OQ.
In this particular resource, if you had a resource with:
900OQ
30SR
It would actually be better to use a resourcewith:
800OQ
80SR
But I digress, and confirm that the bars only show up when you've added the resources to the crafting stage.

I can confirm this as well, all resources are not displaying their quality bar until they have been added to the schematic. This doesn't only affect armorsmith, it affects every schemetic as far as I can tell.
