I was one of the first five masters on Lowca and I've probably crafted thousands of items since then. I cannot remember a single time since then where I had to throw out an item because of subpar results on the combine. It's always great, amazing, or crit fail.

Well, we're obviously getting to that "who cares" stage, but I'd point out that you and I just don't seem to be communicating. If you say

It's always great, amazing, or crit fail.

...then you have obviously had something other than a great/amazing success (a crit fail, as you yourself mention). Ergo, your initial statement that no one ever gets anything other than a great/amazing success is false.

spats and kadu are the fastest of the curent lot, soposedly they all have different terain nogotiation but thats a very hard thing to measure externaly andI honestly dont think theres much of a dif. prety much kadu and spats are marginaly faster than the rest the flumplast seems to be the slowest. pick the one you like the look of the best sence the speed difference is negligable.

To Upgrade something implies that you are adding too, enhancing, and fixing the thing that you are upgrading. The CU does not do this, it is not adding too, enhancing, or fixing the combat system that is in place, it is replacing the innovative SWG system with the generic one used by its competitors. Be honest and stop calling it the CU, Call it the CR (combat replacement) instead

At regular speed, they're all the same.

At gallop, carrion spats and kaadus are the fastest, but have the shortest burst run time.

Dewbacks and bols are slower burst runners than the avians, but have a moderated duration of their burst run.

Falumps, bracks, and humbabas have the slowest gallop, but it is of the longest duration.
