You will pay more for faction as an Ithorian if you are imperial.
But the rebel alliance doesn't discriminate.

Already having the rebel recon schems I went and purchased the battle and assault schems last night.
The first place I checked (on Coreilla) it was pricey at 1800 or so for an arm piece. Atm in the GCW on Wanderhome the rebels have Coreilla but its' not as noticable as Tat is.
So I went to Tat (one zone and a shuttle ride later I'm in Anchorhead).
The price dropped to 1600 (or so) for the arm piece schem.
22k faction paid and I'm the proud owner of my very first set of schems for both rebel battle and assault armor schems.
So yes, being non-human and imperial is going to drive your price (way) up.
The GCW will indeed effect the price.
As an earlier poster mentioned, doing your homework on who is winning on the GCW will indeed help out greatly.
Hope that helps,

Yup imperials don't like non-humans that much, I have a rodian pilot who cannot wear the tie helm cause apparently he has wierd head, and the helmet wasnt designed for no humanoid's, fortunanly my AS is human, and i can buy a set of imp schems for less that 15k FP, so unless you want to make no profit imp faction just isn't worth making unless your a human, even zabrak get hit pretty hard maybe Darth maul should have been a jedi for all the good he did the non humans, maybe the emperor got fooked off that he got himself cut in half and peanalised all non human crafters becuase of it lol.

Check Rori, we lately gained hold there.
Thanks for all the replies. Dworkin is an Ithorian and on Infinity the Empire is losing badly on every planet as far as I can tell so far so I think my plans to make imp faction armour have been well and truly er, armour holed.

You are probably taking similar penalties to Mon Cals. I am an imperial and, even when my side is winning by a large margin, it still costs me 40k faction to buy a set of schems for just one type of suit. That's the cheapest I have ever managed and we were winning by over 100 points on the planet in question.
I don't mind paying more, but the multiplier for some of the aliens is a bit high IMO.

actually it goes by the % of the win not the actual numbers. 100 to 10 is much better than 400 100.

If memory serves, it was about 250 to 50. I always check all of the planets before buying and I look at the cost rather than the score.40k per set (one suit) is the lowest I've been able to pay thus far.

This leads to a question I've not found an answer for as of yet. Can y ou just buy schematics from someone that already has purchased it with fps. As a nuetral crafter, can I just purchase schematics and make/sell the armor?

Thanks again very much indeedfor all the replies - this is one Ithorian who's definitely going to be deserting the filth that is the Empire lol.

no only a MAS can buy the schems and they are non-tradable
