Looted a jetpack base off a black sun thug tonight, was pretty pleased tbh

Anyone know how many pieces you need to complete the pack?

From what I've heard it works like a vehicle. So you can't really do anything while using it.. like shoot a pistol. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Seems like some of the posts on the Test Center boards say that it only goes 5m vertical as well. So much for getting on top of a roof or anything, haha. Oh well.

I remember in the movies where the bh had the jetpack and his full bh armor. That looked nice. I was wondering if anyone has put together a jetpack and what it does. Hopefully you can fly with it. Also what materials are needed to put one together and what type of crafting tool/ profession to make it?

Any info is appreciated. Thanks,

I've never seen on live, but on TC you could fly one. The parts and stuff like that I have no idea.

Sorry to say, as of now the Jetpack is a real dissapointment.

I talked with PEX at Fan Fest about the Jetpack as he was flying around in one during a player competition. I asked him if you could attack while using it and he said no. Its basically just a vehicle you call from your datapad. Which makes no sense as it is something you wear on your back. To top it off, you character will look like a wet noodle just hanging there. I had to laugh when I saw it. So in the end, its useless except to show off.

I just hit a bunch of buttons and hope everything works out.

Granted that you think its useless, but it still has the cool factor with it.

The "cool factor" aside, if you have to call it from your datapad to be able to use it as a vehicle it really is useless. It would be better for it to be a "quick access" vehicle that you can fire up at the touch of a button and flee a battle.

yea seriously I don't remember Boba Fett sitting there for 15 seconds before his jetpack spawned. By that time he would have been dead if he needed to get away.

Touch of a button would make it a bit overpowered... you could kiteall day. However, if it had a fuel gauge of some kind, or it would overheat if turned off and on too much in a short period of time, it's certainly something I'd like to see.

As well as a Certification on it for MBH. (Strongly believes MBH needs to have about 10 Certifications associated with it)
