I have killed thousands and have looted about 100 GDK scalesso tips onthe GDK.

location:

kimo town poi. 1 hour 10 mins respawn. Yes the GDK there do drop scales. There is also a 45k ham NPC there that spawns about every 2 hours 30 mins. He drops everything from junk to very nice loot but every rarely.

Anywhere below the imp outpost. use the imp outpost as a line. GDK spawns anywhere south of the imp outpost line. Sometimes they spawn a little north of the imp outpost but rarely. the volcano is a good spawn spot.

things to look for. GDK spawn by themselves. look for a single red dot on your overhead map. Sometimes you will find spawn of 2 or 3 at once, but its rare. Also if you seen 2 "nest" of gurks which spawns close together, there is a high chances a GDK is near, so be on the look out.

*****remember to pull the GDK from the its spawn spot at least 200 meters. it will respawn another one once the orignal on is dead. i have killed 50 gdk from one spawned before i get sick of it. ******
