I make 80 kin 52 base padded alot. Most of my customers prefer this, and i can sell it from 190k to 250k. Because of the new spawn of lok leather, im currently charging only 190k, but if the resources become low again, the price of course will go back up. I sell between 10 and 20 suits every month, so all in all that isnt too bad.

yeah 80/50 is some nice padded. But unfortunately the resources needed to get that is more costly then comp. And most people have a lower perception of padded and will not pay even close to what they will for composite.....see what the cu brings us.

Thank you all for the really good feedback - I've actually been selling 8 piece sets of this armor @ 500k each. 25 sets gone in 3 days, so the price went up, simply because I don't want to be crafting 24/7.

Let me start by saying, I love padded armor (except for that mushroom helmet).
The problem with padded is that you are almost always better off with either composite or ubese.
Padded is nearly as heavy as composite, and takes its own set of resources which isn't as heavily mined. The composite will have better resists also.
If you're just interested in kinetic protection, ubese is much lighter and cheaper.
If you're more interested in looking good, padded is for you

BTW, energy padded is populare too. I'm making 78% energy now, and it's good for travel.
